Is a static IP address mandatory for operating my own masternode?

If so, can I run the masternode also in a Linux console wallet or do I have to rent a virtual server with Windows?

Generally your ip gives you a static ip address, you can check by looking up your ip in google, and see if it changes over time, if it doesnt then you have a static ip. open up the firewall port to the masternode port and you should be good.

Wish this coin would stay synced.

Personal run 3 wallets and all get stuck at random blocks. Makes running a masternode really hard when you have to restart it every 5 minutes

Such thing happened few days ago. The INNOVA net stalled and pools don't work. When dev handle error pool.friends-master.net worked again.

The pool is stopped.
The new update stratum (added by MN Innova) does not allocate a reward for blocks up to 5040 blocks, it will work correctly after the 5040 block I do not know.
