Firstly you have to enable coin control it'll say for experts only. Just search through the settings and you will find it no problem, and check the box. Then, in the same place you send coins, you'll notice a few new options.

It's very easy to figure out for yourself. When you split blocks always put your receiving address and copy the after fee, then send to yourselt and viola.

Your understanding is somewhat correct yes. You should break up most of your blocks into 2000-2200 and you will get 200 TRK at current difficulties.

As for staking daily, that all depends on how many blocks you have, the more blocks you have the more TRK you will stake over time.

Don't use big blocks.
Example: trk block size 20,000
Your reward is 200trk.

You will stake faster but you only get 200trk. Essentially you're losing out with such big blocks.

Use 'small' blocks
Example: trk block size 2100
Your reward should be 200trk

Trk has a maximum block size which is 200, so it's better to put the most minimum amount per block to get the maximum reward. I'd recommend 1900 to 2300 at the moment. I like to differ between 1900-2300 because when they split sometimes I get lazy and miss looking by a day or 2 and the block is already aged, so I'll still get a decent reward for that block.

It can get pretty strategic.

Since you've been staking for 2 years you may already have quite a lot of split blocks, all with ages etc. You can use those once they finish staking to start getting optimum rewards.

Thanks for this guide.

TRK source code updated to v1.1.0.0 - mandatory!

This is a mandatory update, please build with the new v1.1 source at https://github.com/noise23/truckcoin
Will post Windows and Linux binaries tomorrow.

For those of us who are not programmers does this mean your going to post a wallet upgrade v.1.1.0.0. ?
Will it be an automatic upgrade with download?
What exactly will I have to do?
I am running a mac pro.
Oh, also, are the problems at Cryptopia the reason for the update.

Yes i'm going to post a wallet upgrade v.1.1.0.0
No new wallet for mac available yet as i can't build mac wallet by myself but it's ok to run an older mac wallet version for now.

The problems at Cryptopia is not the reason for this update, i still have no idea what's going on with Cryptopia wallet, support tickets not answered yet and i don't know any other way to contact them regarding wallet issues or upgrade.

This version release is to fix timedrift vulnerability and make TRK wallet ready for the new staking code.
Next version with new staking engine will follow in March.
Noise23 you said it is ok to run the old mac wallet for now as you have not had resource or time to make a new mac update. I am presuming there is still no problems that I will experience; loss of coin, interest, ect. by continuing staking with mac v.1.0.0.0?

Yes it's safe to continue staking with mac v.1.0.0.0 for now. In worst-case scenario there is a slim chance that it can fork and you will need to re-sync but it's very unlikely, should work fine.
Next wallet release will include a new mac version with all updates.

@noise23

Looking forward to the multisend feature on the next release. Do you have any serious development plans? i.e. mobile wallet, marketing, point of sales apps etc....

I am a trk coin owner since dec 2017, it is a very good staking coin, after a lead time of 9 days it pays outs coins consistently throughout the day. Wallet works very stable, never had a crash. I measured it to put out 100% a year interest, it is a better alternative than mining (less electricity costs). O for newcomers, just ignore the Windows security warning, it is a false positive.

I noticed that on coinmarketcap the picture (logo) of the TRK coin looks low-res, can we make that better?

greeting, Erwin (from the Netherlands)

To get POS profit you have to hold the coins in your own wallet, they will not stake in an exchange wallet.

Truckcoin is  a fork of x11coin, a formerly pos coin with a small POS return of 3,33%

The DEV who started it wanted a coin for a couple of reasons:
Here is a quote of him form the original thread of Bitcointalk:'

Bitcointalk member:
"200% is crazy! I wonder what effect it will have on the long term status of this coin, like turning away late adopters..."

Truckcoin DEV:
"I was wondering the same thing. However, I can tell you this: I got really sick of these PoS coins that gave you 1-3% interest in a year. If you want those kinds of measly returns, go put your money in a freaking fiat bank.

It's not fair that the only people who can make money mining these coins are the ones that have huge gpu/asic/fpga farms.  I wanted to give the average joe trucker something he could buy and make a *reasonable* amount of money on. This coin will give you what, 0.75% a day? That seems pretty good. if you have 1000 coins, you'll get a respectable 7.5 coins per day just for holding onto them.  I think this will encourage people to mine and store/buy and pull them off the exchanges, thus driving the price up further.

Honestly, can any of you say you actually held one of the low % PoS coins for any length of time just to get the interest reward? Likely not, as it is much more profitable to dump that coin and move on to the much more profitable coin flavor of the day for a quick pump/dump. I'm really hoping that people will hold onto this coin because the reward is significant.

So to me this is a coin for the average people "joe trucker" so not so bad name afterall....

You can also say that the coin is ahead of its time, with ethereum still figuring out how to switch from POW to POS.

Think about it, mining these days is highly centralized and only for big corporate with very low electricity cost, not for average trucker joe.

With truckcoin and your wallet open, YOU are mining your own coin and contribute to the payment network of the coin!

Another advantage to this coin, is there isn't really any need to ask for funding to further the coin/project.

The interest I'm accumulating is going to help pay for what I wish I could do to help this project.

It might take awhile, but this is a nice feature.

You have to wait until they mature until they start staking and producing more coins.  It should only take a couple of days.

nlexch.com may be a good place to list. its free.
sure, its low volume, but volumes on that exchange should naturally grow as it gets
a greater variety of coins.

the exchange has already saved my butt with franko, new-casino and dnotes2
