Improve your system for withdrawals, otherwise  people   switches to other exchange.
lately withdrawal from finex take more than one hour to be processed. I can't lose my gain (for your delays)  at every withdrawal.

To bitfinex defence... the one hour is actually relatively good. There was a stresstest going on the last days and the effects still can be seen on the blockchain. Ten of thousands transactions still unconfirmed. But i see you mean a waiting time until processed. Thats not so cool for sure, maybe they changed to put different transactions into one in order to pay higher fees and get the transaction through to the miners with the stresstest?

But honestly, i doubt they implemented something like that now.

Yep. I mean time to process a withdrawal (sometime two hours).  Not acceptable.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I somehow have the impression they are short on personal lately. Everything takes more time than before. I wonder why.

Though it wouldnt make so much sense because they hired two? months ago a big fish from OKCoin or so.

I wonder if something is going on.

I made an express withdrawal of 14k USD to my bank account and was marked as processed on JUL 13th and as of right now I have still not received my transfer. Usually it takes a day and a half for me to receive my money but this time its taking DAYS.. what could be the reason?

Wow, the amount of complaints is really astonishing. Oo And i dont like that no one from bitfinex explains whats going on. They really should think this behaviour over. This is surely not helping bitfinex.

Seriously, Bitfinex......what the fucking is going on with you?
Why are you driving your company against a fucking wall???

Everyday there a new complaints popping up and public relations are worse than ever. You guys are not even trying to answer anymore. You've first employed mjr and then Zane Tackett. These guys have done fucking nothing so far....support was 10 times better when Giancarlo and Raphael were in charge. What is happening here???

https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinMarkets/comments/3dd2x1/is_bfx_still_underpaying_swaps/

This is like the fourth thread about a super important topic BFX is not dealing with. You have not even officially acknowledged that lenders are getting defrauded, how long it has been going on and what are you planning to do about this.

Get your shit together......

I published scripts for both importing data into Google docs and converting the CSV into ledger-cli format somewhere back in the 3(?) Bitfinex threads. As I don't do much trading, I am not so sure if it would correctly parse all the possible entries and also some names have changed by now... but in general it shouldn't be too hard to e.g. write a converter to ledger-cli format yourself and then use ledger to generate any kind of report you want.

Unfortunately sometimes it takes quite a while (and often fails) recently to download the history_USD.csv file for me (I have referred some heavy users apparently), so I'm not 100% up to date on that. In general it should be possible though to either extend my early code that I published or rewrite it from scratch. My current tests with my more recent script seem to work out nicely (e.g. balances match up).

Thanky you for your tip. Unfortunately you post very much. I wonder if i can find your scripts. Tongue

Ledger is new to me too and at least there is a version for windows too, so i dont need a virtual machine.

I think i will download all csv first to secure them. Just in case bitfinex might vanish. :Tongue

Edit: Seems margin swaps and unused swaps have the same filename.

All my orders are canceled (on purpose).  The problem I ran into is that it says "You can not place new orders."  I contacted support and haven't heard back from them yet.  However, I am now able to place orders again.

Unfortunately, during the course of getting DDoS'd we had to add a captcha to the API making it impossible to trade through the API. We have now lifted that restriction and you should be able to access the API
What you quoted looks to me like what you'd get when they "add a captcha to the API".

My laptop has been using it all night.  I think it's a transient error.  However, I did ask them to whitelist my IP address, and that might be why I don't see the problem any more.
