As a general point in relation to some posts above...

As a customer of any exchange it would be nice to know for sure all funds are safe for certain rather than just "your funds are safe"  < gox told me that on email 2 days ago btw.

Bitfinex have been doing good overall this is not directed just at them Smiley

When wiring USD to bitfinex how come the legally entity has changed?  I understand multiple bank accounts as that has changed in past, or maybe the entities changed with the bank accounts and I just didn't notice it?

https://bitfinex.com/?refcode=UInJLQ5KpA <-- leveraged trading of BTCUSD, LTCUSD and LTCBTC (long and short) - 10% discount on fees for the first 30 days with the refcode

All they done was include the "B",
and changed to the same Hong Kong Bank
they used for the Chinese New Year before,

Nothing out of the normal.

Anyone else having missing deposit and delay withdrawal?

I've NEVER had a problem with BitFinex's
Withdrawals or Deposits,

They have always been handled,
Effectively and Efficiently,

As a matter of fact that is why
I've always felt good about having found them !

P.S.:

To be fair,
BEFORE posting something like this,
you should give Giancarlo a fair chance
and contact him first at  Giancarlo@BitFinex.com

He's always posted his direct EMail contact all throughout this Thread,
and he always responds pretty quickly, which is more than can be said
for many of the exchanges !

Yes bitcoins not received after several hours.

Did you pay a fee to blockchain
when you made your withdrawal ?

Otherwise your withdrawal will have no
priority and can take up to two days really,

Not only that but with everyone trying to make a run
on the exchanges now to move coins to their own wallets
out of fear you think that maybe just maybe the blockchain traffic
is just a little congested ?, go figure !

all depends on the Miner that's forwarding your
transaction, it's worth it to pay like a .005 fee
when making withdrawals to have your withdrawals
prioritized / rushed !

Sounds like you guys are really trying your best
to stir-up a "Conspiracy Theory" !,

Remember,
"If you stare into the Abyss long enough, it will eventually stare back at you", lol

Really much ado about nothing !

Have some faith in your Exchange,
Just because one freaking guy at Gox has went M.I.A. - Missing In Action

Does not make the whole lot of exchanges crooked.

BitFinex parted ways with Gox a long time ago when Gox failed the first time !

Appears to have been a "Smart Move" on BitFinex's part, then and now !

Trust them to continue to keep making "Smart Moves" !

but in the past the company name was Ifinex Inc but now suddenly it is Bitfinex ltd. That's strange isn't it?

Anyone having connection problems to BFX?
I do have the problem in withdrawl. it is wierd, since it happened to me for the first time that the site said withdrawl is compeleted but don't shown in blockchain or i dont receive it. However, I have filed a suppourt ticket by mailing them. I am very faithful that Bitfinex will take good care of this problem as they have done in the past proving the reputation.

Just wait and have my finger crossed.

PS: i thought i was the only one who experiencing such missing withdraw.

Giancarlo may be a little rough around the edges / blunt regarding Customer Service,

But I've never got the feeling of dis-honesty from him, if anything more like "Brutally Honest"  Grin,

I'll be the first to say that I prefer someone to be Brutally Honest with me when it comes to my money,

HA...Well said !

They stopped that. If they need liquidity, I believe BFX knocks on Stamps door, but the order books remain separate.

My BTC deposit shows 8 confirms on the blockchain ... but still AWOL in my account. BFX says they deposit after 3 confirms, but how prompt are they? Guys - can you take a look?

Do they query deposit addresses every hour or something? How patient should I be?

I have no Idea what your trying to say. I'm asking about the ability to route ones trades on bitstamp from bitfinex. It doesn't seem to be there any more? And I'm wondering why.

The routing option was removed a long time ago. There is a longer explanation, but I don't know what it is ... lol.

ah, Right you are:

Quote
6. Bitstamp Liquidity combined with Bitfinex: Lastly, and perhaps
most importantly, we have listened to your feedback and we agree that trying
to superimpose two order books with different pricing is confusing,
forcing traders to do a lot of extra math when all they really want to do is
trade. Going forward, we will no longer be showing “Bitstamp” orders on our
book, but rather regular “BFX” orders reflecting Bitstamp liquidity, but
priced and grouped in such a way that BFX commission rules can be applied
uniformly to all trades on the platform.

This changes will be implemented within the next few days.

I guess I only noticed that this had happened over the last few days when the prices on the two orderbooks separated a little... dont i feel silly... thanks for your help guys
