tell your "programmer" about a brand new innovation: unit- and integration tests
Thank you, I do appreciate the advice, but like I said, that "encounter" was in the past and I did had to tell him "differently". ...I don't really know the whereabouts of that programmer from that point on.

i was a little sarcastic - 6am here...sorry
but seriously: if a developer faces the problem that any change produces more and other bugs its time to start over with proper testing (and he should not have developed it that way in the first place).

Did bitfinex fix the problem where, in order to trade using the trading wallet, you were having to borrow usd and were getting charged swap fees even if you held enough usd in the wallet to cover the trade?  I would prefer to be able to handle all of my trading through the trading wallet and not have to move everything to exchange wallet and trade there when I want to go long (to avoid interest) and then move back to trading wallet when I'm ready to leverage. That's too much trouble and it doesn't make sense that I'd have to borrow money and get charged interest when I have enough USD to cover the trade.

Go long with leverage -> Trading wallet
Go long without leverage -> Exchange wallet

Yep. That's not a bug, that's the only reasonable way to separate the things.
It works the other way too: You won't lose your funds in other wallet types when you are liquidated, for example.

Is "Hide offer" function cancelled, or is it not working?

I used to work with plain horrible programmer on some project a while back, where every fucking single time some modification to the script is made by him, some other feature on the site get's screwed up and stops working or is malfunctioning, because of the new change introduced. The worst part is that when the site is heavily multifunctional, there is no way to know which feature gets screwed, until one tries to use it. It was really becoming a nightmare when these secondary issues were getting "fixed" and thus the troubles where just mounting at a snowball rate, with every next fucking "fix".  I really hope this is not the case at Bitfinex, I honestly do!!!

... Never can get any "Trading" questions answered in this thread,
everyone is only concerned with lending, geez !
Makes one think why, doesn't it?
...Just a thought: Could it be that it is YOUR particular questions that don't get answered?

Listen "Troll",
No I doubt that,

Firstly,
I seriously doubt from your posts
that I read that you are qualified to answer any questions, Noob !

Appears that you are simply paranoid
from that Programmer that fucked you over and pretty much told you to go to hell,
Thumbs up to the Programmer for properly handling yet another useless ass !, way to go,  Grin

Now if you noticed, no one has bothered to answer your question or any other recent questions,
TRADING questions always take a backseat in this thread simply because it's a LENDER based thread
that's only concerned with how much interest they can charge, thus the need for Customer Service.

Also if you don't like BitFinex, simply "Go Some Where Else", don't think anyone will miss you,
as Giancarlo has said more than once, "You are not obliged to Stay", now I see just what type of customer he is directing that comment at, hint ?

Obviously you are doing something wrong, the "Hide" feature works just fine for me !

Read all your posts, appears you spend your entire time "Trolling" this thread, all of your posts are useless !
In short, "You add ZERO Value", take a hike and get lost.

Now this is a question I can answer, you can't,
Same thing happen to me the day before the Christmas Rally,

Withdrawal was pending from a fresh withdrawal not even 30-min old,
rally started, I wanted to cancel, and could not,
and believe it or not, Giancarlo actually answered that question,
said that because the way their withdrawals are set up to be rapid, they can't be canceled.

Hope This Helps !
Happy Trading

Just thinking about the new OCO - One cancel the other Feature,

Nice,
But I also remember you guys saying that if one gets partially filled
that it still cancels the other, that would mean that in all actuality
that a partially filled order could result in leaving a open position
without a stop, naked.

Yep, that was me -- that's exactly the point. OCO (i.e. combination of stop-loss and limit order) is meant to protect your position, no matter what the market is doing. The current implementation leaves you naked (or half-naked) if a position gets half filled.

I really don't understand the logic behind the current behaviour. Both OCO orders should be reduced by the same amount when one of them gets partially filled, so your positions stays protected.

It could get interesting if the Chinese exchanges decide to move to Hong Kong.

Cancel that. Looks like it IS actually working. I got confused because there used to be a minimum of 100 BTC order required for "Hidden" orders placement in the past.

P.S. I wonder how many more people are annoyed by this CambioBTC character?

Email staff, subject "You're forcing down the value of coins" Grin Depending on the value of the transfer and whether or not it's early enough where can call their bank to halt the exchange, it may be a viable option. May incur fees.

You may be able to block it on your bank's side. That may incur fees and the wrath of a support staff wondering what the Hell happened... may also get funds stuck in limbo for a bit, so I wouldn't explicitly advise it. Smiley

I guess we need the ability to cancel pending orders (of any sort). When it comes to manual orders processing from the side of Bitfinex, making them "cancel-able" does sounds like a very useful feature to both, users (so they can continue using funds, if they change their minds, or made a mistake) and to Bitfinex (so that there is less work load).

Finally CSV data exports are available for the historic data!  Kiss

While the time stamp format is a bit weird, it is definitely "good enough" to work with and I can finally finalize one of my back-burner projects (Bitfinex --> ledger-cli ledger format).

Thanks a lot to whoever implemented it!

Has anybody else not received his daily swap payment today? It's already way past normal pay out time.

CSV exports are great!

Now I'm hoping that bitcointaxes.info will support the CSV export - allowing US (and other) residents to figure out taxes.

Since I had issues with the timestamps in the csv files: In your "account settings" (click your username in the top right corner, it is a hidden menu) you can set the time zone to UTC and then your CSV files will be in UTC too.
