It only takes a dollar to place bids for 100k btc at 1/100000th of a dollar each.
You need to measure the bids in USD.
And the reason people bid that low is because for a very small investment you could make a great return if there was a flash crash that ate through all of Bitfinex's order book.

My "Tradable Balance" is good. Still, I can't borrow money. It says "Invalid offer: not enough margin balance" with all amounts.
Anyone else has this problem?
This is serious, I can't work that way!
Please, fix this ASAP!

I´m having the same(similiar) problem, tradable balance shows a few k $ but i cannot borrow anymore BTC. Problem exists since ~12 h ago. Edit: And another one: Unable to buy on BFX  Could we get some info please? |

I have a question for everyone getting these errors. Are they normal buys around the current price or are they longshot buys, far below the actual value of the coin?
I didn't get the error until putting in a very low, longshot buy order.

Not sure if this was addressed before, but why is the max LTC order size 2000 now!? It's a pretty annoying feature that was implemented. Can we go back to at least 5000 please?
anyone? This doesnt make sense... LTC price is going lower and the lower it is people would probably have a higher lot size Why would bfx restrict it to 2k per order That makes it incredibly annoying for someone who wants to do a 10k or 20k LTC order |

When I withdraw via wire transfer It says "Invalid account name, please put the real account name"
But "Beneficiary Name" was grey so I can not write any thing in it. I don't know why. I had withdrawal successfully many times before.

What sort of return can you expect if you lend your coins to margin traders on Bitfinex? I heard Huobi's BitVC offers 0.2-0.3% per day so just trying to find the best option out there.
Also, can you chose whether you want to lend in fiat or btc?

You can see the (ever-changing) rates here: https://www.bitfinex.com/pages/statsThe FRR, flash-return-rate is what you receive when your loan is taken at variable rate, else you can set up a specific rate. You can, and have to, choose if you lend out BTC or LTC or USD. Ente |

bitvc only offers cryto lending. rates are only 0.012%-0.015% - if you want to go short, 796 is the place to go.

Most definitely. Despite the large flash rate offers, noone really touches them: http://www.bfxdata.com/swapstats/usd.phpPutting up a flash offer now also will put you to the end of the line, the whole current 3M flash offers would first have to be taken before yours will be taken.. Ente |
