Electronic Money vs. Physical Money

If I choose between electronic money and physical money, I would to choose electronic money since money in electronic rises. Like in Coins.ph, if you convert your money to btc, it will gain a profit as time passes by.

Yet you STILL need physical money. Even though electronic money is really promising there is no reason to choose between one of them cuz both of them have their own pros and cons. Look at post above you, he already described that well about these two type of currency.

I think the point that you're giving isn't fit with the problem of OP. I think he's comparing the physical money that you can touch and electronic money is the number that showing up on the screen.

They total different because electronic money you can save it how long you can even use but physical money you easily to spend. For me I would like to choose is electronic money because of volatility and strength for the security while physical money will temporary use because it will spend at all time.

for me money is just digits in my bank account i rarely use cash since i think that debit cards is way better than regular cash and more secure, cryptos is just next level of digits in bank account

The electronic money is better than the physical money because the electronic money is the most secure one than the physical. Your physical money can be steal by the thieves easily while nobody can thief your electronic money. IN case some master hacker hack your account and steal the money then the responsible for this robbery is Bank or other services provider not you. Your money will be still safe and will provide on demand from the electronic services provider.

Well firstly Physical money as the name goes “physical” is money that can be seen as we use it to buy daily goods and services, Electronic money on the other hand works with online goods and services , though that might change soon woth crypto cards coming out and the existence of Bitcoin is growing, as for me Electronic money is better as it is easy to travel and move around knowing your funds are secured online instead of carrying physical money all around, I believe with time Electronic money will take over Physical money 👌

As physical money is not backed up by gold/any other valuable asset anymore, you just have to believe that the central bank won't do something like Zimbabwe did few years ago. Digital currencies are WAY more volatile. Nowadays ICOs are trying to get funded by investors in this area too, and investors will receive their tokens. And the free market decides how valuable it is, there might be scams too.

I hope we are witnessing only the beginning of the new era, where "investing" will be specialised even for average Joe's and they'll be on their own on this market.

I agree. Money is money. We should not compare them, but we must do something that we will have a lot of money. I more thing in gaining money is Bitcoining. Physical money and electronic money is same value in the eyes of the society. Because Electronic money can be converted into physical and Physical money can be converted into Electronic. But that is only true for centralized ways of payment when it comes to bitcoin if you lose your money to hackers you are most likely never going to see that money ever again, that is why one of the most important things we need to do as bitcoin holders is to make sure to not lose our coins to hackers and that means we need to implement strong security measures.

money you have on credit card ... are not physical, they are electronic. and so is bitcoin, but bitcoin is totally different story, since it is decentrilized. people are used to electronic money, if they want bitcoin they may need to learn the principles how it works .. or may not )) just learn how to use it

In addition to this, the electronic money can be used as an investment if now being used by the owner as it is increasing day by day. Another thing is that it can be spent much more faster that the paper money, and if you have to transfer the money to someone, you can do it in much more secure and free of tax way. Its not like that physical currency is totally obsolete, but why to go for slow net when you have 4G or LTE?

digital currencies have penetrated into real-world goods and services payments, whereas physical currencies are an obsolete pattern that will be replaced in the future, a fast rate of transactions will make the convenience expand widely.

E-money will not only apply to cryptocurrency just because fiat will also bring the same thing, the biggest goal is the effectiveness and reduction of excessive budget spending, so do not be surprised one day conventional banks will fire many employees who work offline.

Depends! I preferred both, There are instances money are very useful in case to case basis, Like if i were in rural areas, they mostly doing traditional method of payment due to lack of connections and expensiveness of computer gadgets to accept credit card payments.

Talk about the tangible and the intangible. The biggest difference really is its acceptance by the general public. Real money or fiats can be used by all and to all businesses no matter how big or small it maybe while on the other hand, you can only transact using bitcoins or other cryptos from individuals or institutions that accept cryptos.

Physical money is more advantage and more usable now because you can use this anywhere to buy anything but in electronic like bitcoin that needs internet to convert in physical money to buy but its more good you have electronic orvdigital money like bitcoin because the value is increasing.
