Future of DogeCoin

I have no idea why Doge is still existing, there is nothing in this currency. It has no future because it is going down. It's future is not good at all. Look at its price, it is lower than 30 satoshis each doge and it will never recover i guess..
Its totally dead no future, so I don't recommend you to invest in it. I think this coin has been made for fun .

It's still better than playmoney. Playmoney doesn't do anything for a gambler. You at least get some "psueudo" exhilaration  from playing with DOGE. Like penny slots.

I think Doge coin future is very dark it is my personal thinking.Because Doge coin price ratio is very lower.I have a doubt after 3years or 4years doge will be cross highest 5$-10$.

Yeah, it's pretty interesting to see this. But that's probably because of the type of people that were involved with crypto during the earlier days. Now that more of the "normal" mainstream people are starting to join the markets Doge is quite likely to lose its last leg and fall. The only way to avoid this would be active development and rejuvenating the community around it, doesn't seem like anybody wants to do this though.

I don't What is future of doge coin.I invest my big amount money for bought it.But at present dogecoin price is very low.
I am waiting for see when dogecoin  Get back previous position.I do not know when that day it will come.

Doge should be dead but it's not and it isn't going to die because it is merge mined with LiteCoin so as long as Litecoin is mined the Doge network will continue to function.

It's uses are as follows off the top of my head.

1. listed and accepted everywhere (Tips, gambling...)
2. fast transactions
3. cheap transactions
4. can be used to get funds off of any exchange thats not outright blocking withdrawals.
5. good intro into crypto for n00bs.


It isn't being developed but last time I checked it was getting patched if need be since it is bitcoin code base it's compatibly with all bitcoin patches. It really doesn't need anymore than what it is, it has a friendly community that makes it easy for entry into this space so it's good to get new people involved that need everything ELI5.

But yeah it should be dead but it's not and it's not going to die anytime soon. AFA getting a pump to dump your worthless shit well who knows there are always people targeting coins for P&D's just be aware thats all it's going to be it will never retain any value for any significant amount of time. So when it pumps get out of that shit you stupidly bought!

Why are we confused about dogecoin if there are still many more great coins?
I had some dogecoin and hold it for a good price ($ 1 maybe) but it never happened, so i sell them all.
And I'm not sure doge will have a good future like the new altcoin (Zec, XZC, ETC, and more).

There's no future for dogecoin to reach high price. But still i like that coin i usually use that for tipping people but sometimes i use for investment usual i do short term. And even althought the prices is so cheap it still give enough profit for me.
I really hope the developer of this coin doin some improvement i don't want this coin goin disappear or something.

Yesterday one of my friend sent me some dogecoins, so out of curiosity i started digging information about how this coin work and how it is different from others as it is my first interaction with this Crypto-asset.

I found some interesting information regarding how it's origin is based on a popular internet meme and it's community active participation in various charity works and even in helping their fellow mates who lost their dogecoins in a cyberattack through various crowdfunding efforts, which is indeed appreciable.

If we specifically talk about speed of transactions - i have to say dogecoin is indeed fast. But the thing which caught my attention is there is no limit to its suppy, which means it is present in infinite amount.

Till today more than 100 billion dogecoins are in circulation. With as of today Oct-23-2017 , 1 DOGE =   $0.00101075 .
We have been taught about price-supply-demand things in school , in simple terms a price of an asset will depend on demand in market and its suppy - if supply of an asset is more than demand price falls and if supply is less and demand in market is more then price of an asset increases. So we can relate this to the continous BTC price increase as demand for bitcoin is more and supply is limited which increases it's value.
Comming to the fact that dogecoins have no limit of supply i hardly think it can ever become an investment asset or a stable currency ever. I see some people on twitter who are investing in alt coins see it as an long investment on which i completely disagree.

If we want to see doge coin really succeed , here are my views what the developers should seriously take note of:

1. Limit its Supply:

 More than 100 billion doge coins are in circulation with market cap of approx. USD 13.5 MIL . 100 billion is a big number and it's always increasing so unless community decide to limit it , i donot think it can attain any significant value in longterm.

2. Ok if we limit it - what will we do with existing coins?:

Solution to above problem is quite simple. We just need to publish a new Crypto-token or currency which will derive it's value from previous currency in circulation. For Ex: Let the new currency be called Super Dogecoin denoted by S-DOGE. As per our convenience we can set it's base value like 1 S-DOGE could be equal to 1000 or 10K or say even 100k DOGEs . So not just it will decrease the numbers of coin but will also hold significant value. And this new currency could also be listed to the exchange if needed.

In my opinion, dogecoin has no power to lift its price high or more volatile. Its just stay on that price for long time. It makes not so interesting to use this coin as trading tool anymore. So future, dogecoin will not be used by trader anymore. Its my thought.
