If your masternode is running properly, you should get rewards every 2-4 hours or so. Are you running the QT wallet? If so, can you check what it says in the "Masternode" tab?

On my masternode it also took longer to the first payout (about 12-14 hours), since then it comes relatively regularly every 6 hours in average. Just wait a little more, if it shows ENABLED in the Wallet everything is fine. Btw, the number of masternodes is still increasing every day, at the moment 373.

Hm, yeah, when I set up my MN there were less than 100, so perhaps 6 hours average is more accurate now But yes, if it shows ENABLED you should be good. This is not true the other way around, as I recently learned. You can get rewards for a MN that is NOT currently running, as there is a grace period in which you can still get rewards even though your MN is already MISSING...

Is it this coin third generation altcoins, I can not find a good reference to see the different categories (if actually such a category exits and relevant)?

After MN setup is finished and reward is coming through. Should you keep wallet running on local pc for MN to work?

No once it's setup you can close the wallet and still receive your rewards. You should check periodically that it's still enabled, either opening the wallet or use a service like masternodes.online free monitoring service https://masternodes.online/monitoring/Only staking requires wallet to be open to receive rewards. After MN setup is finished and reward is coming through. Should you keep wallet running on local pc for MN to work?

For those asking about next year's plans, we'll have the updated roadmap publicly available on New Years Day.

I have bought some 200 phore's, now I enabled staking via the conf. file and the staking is active according to the small indicator in low right corner.
Under combined balances my PHR amount is shown correct but there are 0.00 locked phores. I though you would have to lock your coins to be staking. Am I actively staking at this moment with no locked coins?
Can anybody answer this? Would be interested too it takes some hours then your staked coins are locked for some minutes and then you get your reward...

I'm excited with this project and have two doubts:
1) Is there any problem to staking amounts in the Wallet if you have future plans to set up a masternode? I didn't understand the main post on page 1 with this phrase on staking part
"Close wallet and open again, and now coins will stake after 3 hours. If you plan to setup a masternode, don't enable beforehand."
2) Is there a way to set up a shared masternode? If yes, how?
Thank you all in advance
1. It recommends you remove the staking=1 line to make room for the RPC info in your phore.conf. 2. There are shared masternode websites. One of which is on our first page; HostMN's

Hi! 10,000 for an MN. You can stake any amount, but the more coins you have, the more likely you are to get rewards. Stop by the discord if you need any support with anything.

Was watching this for awhile, kicking myself for not buying around 4k-5k sats. Will buy if we get around 15k sats again but it's ok there are many opportunities in crypto.

The 10k collateral for the masternode are not allowed to stake. If they stake, they will break into two 5k piles and the masternode will stop working, as it needs exactly one pile of 10k. You can lock the pile in coin control and then start staking, all the instructions say is, don't enable staking beforehand, otherwise the 10k might stake before you can lock them

I am really excited I found Phore. Really surprised with the upward movement right now. I bought in as a long term hold, but surprised to see how quickly it has increased.
Between Phore, Shield, DeepOnion and COLX, I feel pretty darn excited for 2018. Maybe I'll be able to buy a house and a nice car to park in the garage. That'd be pretty amazing.
