Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p
I think you should not invest in litecoin instead you should invest 25% for ethereum, NEO, DASH will have a future rather than invest in litecoin.

Investing all your savings can never be a good idea, crypto world has ups and downs.
It's worse to contribute all your cash and in the event that you need to contribute your everything cash than I will propose you not to put your everything cash in one anticipate yet you have to put resources into some unique undertaking with the goal that you can recuperate any misfortune on the off chance that you can confront and furthermore you have to spare some of your cash for your day by day require.

In my humble opinion, investing all of your savings in cryptos is a somewhat risky move.  If you stick to your guns and hold it for the long term (5-10 years) as you say, it could definitely payoff very nicely.  It will potentially payoff much higher than your "normal" investment options drawing interest, stocks and bonds, mutual funds, etc.  However, putting all of your eggs in one basket so to speak (yes I know it is 3 different cryptos, but all crypto nonetheless), just like any other investment, there is a chance it all could come crashing down around us.  Maybe invest 50-75% in cryptos "just in case" and the rest in more typical options, just to be safe.
I think, for a person who hasn't invested in any crypto coin before, it is a very nice strategy he came up with. He understands the value of Bitcoin and Ethereum very well. Personally, I don't like Ethereum very much because it is very slow at giving profits but it can be trusted with future. He will make the most amount of capital increment from Bitcoin. I would like to suggest him expanding his options if possible.

Investing in bitcoin is no doubt the best thing to do and that at the very present moment but the thing is we need to be very much careful while making this decision of how much amount we need to invest in bitcoin. If you are going to invest all of your savings, then things may go wrong. You do need to have something in your account as your backup. It will help you in managing the things at the time when you are suffering some sort of loss in your investment.

Maybe, you do not understand the benefits and the power of Ethereum can help the society. Ethereum is one of the projects can change the world's economy and other fields in future. The smart contract is the best tool to help us can put all faith in our deal, because there is no risk. Of course, if do not have Bitcoin and the blockchain technology, we will not have Ethereum for today.

Don't invest all your money, because there is no permanent in crypto, what if the price of the coin you invest will dump?  Any coin can lose the value anytime. So better half of your money not all.
it will be better again to split the half of his money, he should hear someone's advice that now is not the perfect time to invest in altcoins, eventhough they will be pumped oneday, but it cant be guaranted, nobody when the price will be raised and fall. keep trading on safe way. stay aware for altcoins in this month.

I also invested all my savings into crypto and I think this is a good investment. After losing a lot of money for the first time, I was able to understand the fluctuations of this market and have a better investment strategy.

By the way this is seriously a better advice. Bitcoin is so expensive right now to buy but yes altcoins are in good position to buy and then hold them or trade as per your requirements. Make your way now and get the chance to change your life because now, bitcoin along with all the other altcoins are increasing with different speeds but yes they are increasing. So gear up!

I think you know a lot about cryptocurrencies because the way you partitioned your money is well decided. You know the value of each coins and you know how much money you have to invest. I bet you have better strategies in investment and it would be better if you shared some of it.

I don't think it is a good idea asking that kind of question here because this might get you even more confused and hesitant. The decision is always on you, bro. I won't give you my direct opinion but I am leaving you with this : Spend what you can afford to lose.
Actually, no one can really scold any one at this moment looking at the situations surrounding bitcoin usage. However, I totally agree with not putting one's egg in a single basket as that can be dangerous. Still, it is very tempting not to want to go all in as the believe and trust by the community in bitcoin is becoming huge by the day and it looks like a risk that can be extremely worth it as long as the person involved understands the risk.

My advice is to use some of your money to buy Bitcoin. $ 5000- $ 6000 for long-term investment is enough. Before that you should learn more about cryptocurrency because money without knowledge is not enough.

For me, investing all your savings to 3 cryptocurrencies you have mentioned is not really good idea. Why? because you cannot say what will happen the following days or months if the prices will either go up or down. It is very risky and the rates are flactuating. Also, what if something emergency that might happen in few days or months with your own personal life. Be proactive about uncertainties.

Yes, I like this approach. There is always a reserve option, some of your currencies will rise in price Smiley

Investment is necessary for those of us who have been educated about financial management. Only, I think is quite risky if you invest all savings. Because, however saving still needed so asn't to disrupt the investment we do.
