It is not a wise idea. Before you will do it, consider the risk of it and don't decide without thinking twice. In some point,  I admire you to think possible idea to do your savings to be productive but do you think you have enough skills to handle that?  Enough knowledge?  Investing background and experience? Considering this question can help you to do your right decision.

Investing all savings that you have is a great idea because it will grow more in crptocurrency unlike in depositing it into bank which deals to small interest rate. Bitcoin will provide the best things for your future.

I like how you divided the percentage of investment. Speaking about investing all the savings, to my mind it is a bit risky. It is always better to have some extra saving behind. Anyway, investing into crypto now is more than reasonable.

A person might be wrong about his decission. Then this would be a disaster for him if he goes with all of his money. That's why you need to sepearate the budget into different projects.

Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p
Long term investment is a good decision, yet you should observe  I think. At first, gather knowledge on cryoto currency, their trading system and strategy. After getting enough confidence, you can invest gradually.

I think the best thing to do is to think before you invest. for me, it is not advisable to put all your funds and your savings to an investment. You should leave some for holdings and you should only invest amount that you are ready and willing to lose so that you will not regret it at last.  Investing is like gambling because you rely on the probability of it to become high, it is quite risky depending on where you invest.  We can not easily predict what is going to happen next so it always have a risk factor.

Its not a good idea to invest your all saving on cryptocurrency because market always down and up.Bitcoin & ethereum and  litecoin.  are most powerfull coin on crypto market so you can 3x or higher profit.Previous year bitcoin only 1000$+ and after the middle of the year its hit 5000$ and finaly its hit near 20000$ .This year bitcoin and all coin are down but i think if you hold coin 5-10 year just buy Bitcoin & ethereum and litecoin. and save your private key and forget its for 5 years .

That's right. Investment isn't a field to get money without risk. And investing all funds included saving amount is very dangerous, except that person can calculated exact percent profit after investing, else, that funds will lose all. But, I'm sure no one can do that and only the gambler want to investing all funds Roll Eyes.

I think at the present time you should invest all in bitcoin. It can be seen that bitcoin is the most valuable coin of the present time and far exceeds all other coin, in addition to bitcoin has a very high growth rate. So if you invest in bitcoin you will be able to own as well as increase your wealth.

As much as I agree with your portfolio , investing all your hard earned savings is not a good decision. always remember invest only what you can afford to lose or you'll end up broke or homeless. Back to your choices , those coin are already establish why not invest in some coin that has more potential to grow?

That portfolio is good but investing all saving in cryptocurrency is no good idea, because cryptocurrency has high fluctuaction and unpredictable, and make invest here just speculation. So by Split your investment like 50% in crypto and other 50% in other asset like gold or real estate will be good risk management.

First, don't try to do everything in an encrypted currency.

Investing all your money is a big risk to your finances, so I wouldn't recommend it.

You can invest half the money.

First of all do not invest all of your money in one  thing.

Investing is a long term goal. If you are going to invest on bitcoin make sure that you are buying at its lowest price. If you bought at ATH. never ever sell your position at loss.

Investing all of your money makes you broke. So invest only what you can afford to lose. good luck.

I think your approach is not wrong ,It is the issue of risk appetite,
It is a good idea to spread apart
Are you sure you do not keep it? The timing of buying is also important

I spend 60% of my savings. But I do not have time to place them in the same place where I will chisel out.
- 20% in BTC
-20% to ETH
-20% for ICO projects.
The remaining 40% is for my family. I think there is no investment field without fail.

You have a good proportion of money allocated in a cryptocurrency.

I'm not going to put all my savings into cryptocurrency, and always remember that the price of an encrypted currency is very unstable and can be changed at any time.
It is not a good idea to invest all savings, suppose if we lose in the trading then all our saved money we will lose, so save some part of the saved money for the future and then remaining we can invest in gambling, trading. If we get the profit then again can plan for the next investment.
