New chain is alive and well. We swapped nearly half of the supply. Considering the age of XP, that's remarkable. Nearly 150,000,000,000 in old XP converted to the new chain.

It's very important that if any issues are present, we find and eliminate them. I realize that doing this is a task, and as I've always said, a task well done is a task for which we should pay.

We are seeing a move by the Midas.Investments platform to not be in support of masternode currencies. Therefore, at this time, we are strongly recommending all holders of XP remove their coin from that platform immediately.

We have not received confirmation that Midas is delisting XP at this time, but we are expecting it might happen in the near future.

As previously announced on May 28, 2021, we expected that Midas.Investments would be moving away from XP because Midas was moving away from masternodes in general. XP wasn't removed in the first round, but XP is being removed in the second round. Please review the following schedule:

Thursday, July 8, 2021 - Nodes will be turned off and no further payouts will be made to investors. XP will no longer appear on the Shares table on Midas, Midas exchange and InstantBuy.

End of August, 2021 - XP share cards for existing users on Midas will no longer appear on UI. Blockchain/automatic withdrawal support will stop and users will need to contact Midas support directly to process.

eXperience Points 5.2 is finally here! Kid tested and mother approved, its a whole new set of desktop native wallets for Linux, Windows, and MacOS made just for you.

Packed inside this powerful update are enough features to overwhelm even the heartiest of crypto-enthusiasts. This update introduces cold staking (delegated Proof of Stake) which allows a coin holder to stake their coins with a third party while retaining the private keys to those coins. It also introduces privacy in the form of zk-SNARK Shielded transactions which allows for pretty much every aspect of coin transfers to be conducted completely in private. There's an entirely fresh, modern interface that brings the wallet out of the QT dark ages, HD-enabled wallet support, greatly reduced resource demands for hardware running the core, and a host of fixes for bugs and other issues. Since this is a major upgrade, we will be hard forking the chain at block 1050501. We expect to hit this block sometime around Saturday, October 2, 2021. The new wallets are compatible with the chain prior to the fork and can be used to conduct staking, masternode, and all other coin operations before the fork block, meaning that you can upgrade as soon as the new wallets are released. You don't have to wait for the fork block to upgrade. This is also a protocol change, so all masternodes will need to be restarted if they are to remain on the network after the fork block. Before the fork and for up to a week after the fork, cold staking and privacy will be turned off via spork control. Once the network has cleared the chain upgrade and stabilized, we will turn on cold staking and privacy. A non-mandatory wallet update (5.2.0.3) will also be released at that time.

We expect there to a be a learning curve with this new wallet, especially with the introduction of cold staking and privacy. If you have questions, ask and we will do our best to help.
