As I said, they had problems initially but seem to have been resolved.  They also offered their coin (5 KCS)  to all users as an offering for the make amends for the trouble.

Most my trades at one time was with POLO...now I have nothing there and mostly use Binance, Bittrex and KuCoin now.

The daily withdrawal is 2 BTC for non verified users. I verified using my passport recently. A few month back, Binance refused to verify without a passport, I believe it should be the same now.

A lot of exchange start ups try to impress their client when they are trying to register themselves in the mind of the participants in the market especially when the there are large number of players offering the same thing. The moment they get their target audiences and even surpass it just with few numbers, they also begin to be guilty of those things we are all accusing the big players today. Its just like someone comparing how fast a transaction on a coin platform is to bitcoin and by that decide its the best option without considering the amount of volume that is happening on the bitcoin network every seconds.

I used Binance for quite a while with just the basic Level 1 account and no verification, but the 2 BTC withdrawal limit started to get in the way when I would move funds, so I used a passport and verified the next level up. I trust them, and I am aware of risks keeping coins on exchanges, but there are risks keeping coins in hardware/software wallets as well.

It's seems Kucoin is gathering some momentum right now. Someone in a whatsapp group that I am a member of posted a link to kucoin.com  and I have checked it out. The interface seems pretty user friendly and the webpage loads faster. Also if you hold KCS token, you stand to get some bonus rewards.

They (KuCoin and Polo) are different models and as mentioned Polo is a veteran exchange, I used to love it and was my main exchange  but I eventually left for Bittrex.  Bittrex and Binance are my go to exchanges now.  For me, KuCoin entered the picture recently due to RPX.  I really wanted to buy that coin and I can only get it from KuCoin.

I am one of those who is taking advantage of their referral system (shown in my signature) ...no shame there but just because I believe the exchange has a future after reviewing it.  I also bashed it here when they had problems but they corrected it and won me back.

The big difference is that you are not putting out anything other than effort (no cost to you).  If you will trade anyway, why not?

Businesses use referral to attract customers, this doesn't make them a Ponzi. In this case there are still platforms where people can exchange coins versus other people.
What I pointed out was that OP came out with an over-scaled comparison just to lure people click on his ref link.

I used Binance for quite a while with just the basic Level 1 account and no verification, but the 2 BTC withdrawal limit started to get in the way when I would move funds, so I used a passport and verified the next level up. I trust them, and I am aware of risks keeping coins on exchanges, but there are risks keeping coins in hardware/software wallets as well.

I guess they are the underrated exchanges at the moment,a lot of people recommending it. Kucoin,people are recommending it for listing new ico coins and binance it has no fees for a few altcoins like neo and gas i guess. Bittrex I dont know what is going to happen they have been banning and blocking access to some of its users and poloniex aren't listing any coins and their daily withdrawal limit is low.. So maybe we are going to see a new exchanges taking over bittrex and poloniex.

Binance on the other hand really has great potential to grow bigger than it is today and really rewch the level of bittrex and polo. (Dont like polo that much to be honest)

Kucoin is absolutely brand new and hasn't earned anything yet; but has the single most aggressive shilling I have ever seen in my life right now. It puts COSS to shame in that regard. Its stupid referral system + heavy marketing budget has people pretending its on par with Binance/Bittrex long before its earned that right.

If it gets there, Ill give it that credit, but its not in the same conversation as Binance right now. Binance has weathered some shit, and worked HARD on community outreach and adding of coins to get the small bit of respect it has from users and the volume its built. Kucoin ain't there. Not yet anyway.

Thats why I am pushing Binance/KuCoin. It pisses me off that Bittrex sucks so much ass lately and isn't adding anything worthwhile, Polo just sucks so bad as well and is on a downward spiral. KuCoin is exactly where Binance was when they were this new, and I believe they will follow in Binance's footsteps. If we don't have good options then we will be stuck with shitty exchanges pushing shitty coins.

Binance definitely is one of the best exchange out there because it values its community input. Kucoin is also doing that extremely well and that is why it has a rapid growing community. They are like asking for rpx, etp, and other tokens and the dev really go and reach out to these coins. So that is why kucoinc is growing.. and the token give you dividends on their profits.

Contrary to the people who are upset at the Kucoin referral program and their aggressive marketing, I see this as a big positive. I want to see aggressive marketing. I'm buying KCS today on this dip to the 10,000 satoshi level. I look for it to be a quick 2x and it pays dividends of %50 of profits to token holders which I think people will demand of there exchanges in the future.

The volume on Kucoin dropped back to old levels, before RPX on Kucoin-levels... It was 11 million dollars at the height. Now it doesn't even touch 3 million dollars. What happened? Binance stealing the Kucoin-thunder with referal-links and listing the same coins?

In order to grow, Kucoin needs RPX to stay solely on Kucoin and the RPX-team need to make progress & true announcements... Just my opinion.

I'm not entirely sure about Kucoin since i haven't done any research on how their token functions within their exchange environment so it would be inappropriate for me to comment on that matter. But Binance is definitely looking like a strong favorite to be the next big thing.

They have great community involvement which is probably the most overlooked part of an exchange.

Both should be bad exchange sites. Kucoin with its scam confido token and binance with its scam various bitcoin hardfork token. it seems to be true. For the coin analyzation and it seems bittrex still the best in my opinion.

Yeah there is a connection between them. The people that run binance helped the kucoin owners set up there exchange so they are good friends most likely. But if they both have each others coin traded on there exchanges than it shouldn't weaken KCS prices. I have a lot of KCS myself but i'm finding the strong bitcoin is what is hurting my KCS prices right now, can't wait for it bitcoins bullish run to finish so my KCS prices can increase again!

A lot of selling points . I like that they pay Gas dividends for Neo holders. I have invested in both kucoin and COBINHOOD.  With bitcoin getting lot of mainstream attention with news on BTC listing on Chicago Mercantile Exchange and NASDAQ, 2018 could be the year where lot of big money comes into cryptos.

I am currently using Binance and Kucoin for business instead of Bittrex and Poloniex. Because I like the simplicity of the interface design of Binance and Kucoin, it's handy and efficient. I don't think Bittrex is worried about losing customers - they can't even handle the peak load of existing customers. They have stopped registration of new accounts for almost 3 months now. It seems strange that they put out this message in December and even now have not upgraded their servers to accept new customers.
Even Binance went through the sharp increase in load and stopped new user registration for some time, but they quickly sorted out their problems.

All seems well but from my personal experiences Kucoin exchanges support system is too slow and unresponsive. In their chat system they have got only one person and he is Mr Sandy. I do not know whether he is a live person or an automated ChatBot I had interacted many times with Kucoin chat and every time he only shows up and his responses are just automated and looks as if he is taking random answers from their support database. When support website of Kucoin is contacted even their response also is not satisfactory Also they are not true and abiding to their own statements. For example, let us take one issue, here as follows :

I hold around 9 LTC on Kucoin exchange on that particular date and block height. I am supposed to get approximately 90 LTC Cash as per hard fork policy. But neither we received an announcement when Kucoin is issuing us LTC Cash nor I received the LTC Cash. When enquired with Mr. Sandy over support chat he told he do not have any idea about the hardfork nor he had seen any announcement about it. When I had given the above references to it, it told that he had nothing to do with it and that is under business team purview. When I had insisted that the matter be raised with Business team by quoting above references, there is no response from it.

After that I had sent an email with the same references to support staff they had also claimed there is no such announcement. It is really surprising that a major hardfork of the fifth largest cryptotoken (LTC) had taken place and an esteemed exchange like Kucoin does not have a clue about it and they are trying to shrug off their shoulders.

Again when I had given them their own website announcement regarding the support for all type of forked tokens as per the above links then they said that they will support all types of forked tokens and they will forward the matter to relevant team for further action but after that no response from them

Now my points are :

1. Kucoin had issued statement on their website on 14 December 2017 that they will permanently support all types of forked tokens (Reference : https://news.kucoin.com/en/announcement-regarding-ethereum-fog-and-other-fork-coins/ )

2. The hard fork of LTC to LTC Cash took place at blockheight 1371111. This Kucoin is not aware of and they are keeping silent. Really ridiculous that an esteemed exchange like Kucoin does not know what is going on with the fifth largest LTC crypto and they are contradicting their own statements.

3. Now users like me have parked their LTC in exchange. And as per fork policy we are supposed to get 10 LTC Cash for every i LTC held. If Kucoin do not support LTC Cash hardfork, (if they do not, then they are contradicting their own statement of permanent support to all types of forked tokens. They are making false and misleading statements so that customers will get lured to them) then where those forked tokens go ? Are they in the pockets of Kucoin or with LTC / LTC Cash developers (founders) ? They are supposed to belong to investors since it is their property.

Finally, I request KUcoin to immediately release proportionate LTC cash (ten in number to one LTC held) to all LTC holders in Kucoin exchange at the time of fork (including me , tki_92@hotmail.com), afterall it is their money and not Kucoin's. By doing so they will not contradict their own statement of permanent support to all types of forked tokens.

In eight years of trading I have lost been hacked or stolen from two times once on Poloniex and the other from Kucoin .

Kucoin is by far closer to Cryptsy, comparing yourself to an exchange like Binance is an insult those guys at Binace offered rewards to catch hackers.

Haven't heard the name kucoin till now, looks pretty now but as binance is having good trading volume lately.

You're right . After trying two exchanges, Binance and Kucoin. Then I think Kucoin is better than Binance. I also spent some money to buy KCS. Hope it will thrive in the future and kucoin will be the biggest exchange in the world

I tried to find the owner of Kucoin and some videos on the team behind it there a shadow company you will probable get robbed like I did .


They gave my funds or took my funds either way I lost money on Kucoin .. I used all the security measures its easy to verfy that I did and I had nobody login to my email to confirm the withdralws I have the ip logs for that too.

I have contacted Kucoin and they have not replies at all .

If you put money on Kusoin maybe you will lucky and not get robbed I have no Idea.

I have had money on BLeutrade fro years lol little bitty exchange with half the security and its was still there put money on Kucoin and get robbed in a matter of days .


Kucoin is like Cryptsy or Mt. Gox.

I have used both Kucoin and Binance for some number of transactions and i think they are quite great. I trust them, and I am aware of risks keeping coins on exchanges, but there are risks keeping coins in hardware/software wallets as well.

Looks like they are taking over the volume though I haven't been trade on those exchange because I never had a problem with bittrex after they verify my account. I think their advantage are lower fee and bigger maximum withdrawal per day. I also don't use poloniex since they had a problem with support, I withdraw all my asset and transfer to bittrex.

I can't remember if its verify, but the thing is it is documented. They send all the details on their medium post.

Anyways, I love binance. it's quick and a very good user interface.

i use to like polo and bittrex but they are losing the game these days. they still have good volume though but there are lots of exchanges that are coming out that might even bury them in the list. sooner the projects like midex will also be launched. there are several projects that also have an exchange of their own and you can see it on their roadmaps.

Actually both exchanges are quite good, somewhat similar although they have a long way to go. The future? Not really. I see the future being decentralized exchanges, not centralized ones like Binance, Kucoin, and many others.

Kucoin recently added some extra layer of security which impressed me, I'm considering to use kucoin as one of my major token exchanges. I don't agree with the fees, some users were complaining about the high withdrawal fees, I didn't try it yet.

I would agree with binance, but not with kucoin.

Although kucoin has popularity, the actual volume of trade on the site isn't that much.
Actually, Bibox (which has no name recognition has better volume).

Of course, kucoin's growth is phenomenal and it can easily be one of the top exchanges, but for now, it seems most people are satisfied with just having binance be the granddaddy of them all.

My own personal opinion, is that people will flock en masse to a new exchange the moment it shows signs of booming.
The biggest contender I can think of is Coss.

A lot of investors are eager to jump in on an exchange when it is new and its coin is still undervalued.

But, yes, the old giants are all becoming irrelevant and unusable.
Poloniex, hitbtc, bittrex, cryptopia, they all have insane fees and technical problems up the wazoo.
They have already proven that they can't scale and handle truly large volume.

This happens because Bittrex and Poloniex are quite strict regarding their membership and withdrawal of funds because you need to do verification first before you can actually withdraw you're money but you can always deposit with that many users cant access their funds because it is hard to get in touch with the help providers. Meanwhile in Kucoin and Binance you can actually trade and withdraw your coins without any hassle thus many people started to use it than Bittrex & Polo.

Yeah until this time last year I was mainly using Bittrex and Poloniex, but after December I have shifted to Kucoin and Binance as they are the Exchange 2.0. Both Bittrex and Poloniex exchange now require you to verify your accounts with your documents and that is what lead to me shifting to Kucoin and Binance. Trusting an online exchange with your personal documents is very risky, especially when the exchanges are so prone to hacking attempts.

Polo and bittrex seem to have lost their connection already, the new ones are not taking BTC from their users which is why they are likely to survive in the end. I think if Bittrex and Polo will soon take not BTC through the transaction fees, I think we're all going to also keep using them still.

I prefer kucoin more than any other exchanger that i use in the past because there are some markets before who get issues on where the scenario is, their coins are lost due to the drastic changes of cryptocurrency in the market.

Binance low fees are awesome for me, especially since if you use BNB to pay for fees it is even cheaper, not to mention the price of BNB has gone up nicely over the last 5-6 months so I have bought sold and traded coins on Binance for free essentially.

They recently open their system for allowing users to buy cryptocurrencies through visas and that must be the reason why they are struggling now to cope up  with their countries regulations. They badly needed such process to continue to compete with the new exchanges today which is more user friendly. The volume in their exchange still is considerable.

Actually kucoin is good regarding the support and also its own token can give benefit to get lower fee for its holder. But the volume i think its not enough to replace thos two exchange. Regarding binance, i have no doubt with this exchange. Its very great for me.
