Main Cause of accidents/road safety

I think the main cause of accidents especially vehicular accidents is the negligence of road safety, wearing a protective gear such as helmets and knee cup can not actually stop an accident to happen but it can decrease the chance of the accident getting worse that could lead to death.

Both the traffic enforcers and the drivera are at fault. Some enforcers do not do their job properly. Some just slack off and others turn a blind eye to those who broke the traffic rules necause they know that person. For other drivers, they don’tvobey the traffic lanes, the speed limits and the stop sign.

That's correct! And in addition, I witness and I already experience that because of animals like dog playing in the road is the main cause of accident. In my country, dogs is now ban to lessen the record of road accidents specifically in all motor cycle riders. My government conducted seminars to all dog lovers to be responsible enough in owning dogs.

the main causes of it should we avoid rapid driving for everyone because there is so much that is happening in the world that can prevent accidents and help accelerate the drive to have lives . the cause of this is we need to be careful driving on the road to preventing disastrous

For sure drinking or assuming drugs before driving, then text messaging or watching the phone, doing make up, hving an altered emotional state (e.g. really angry at someone can distract you) while you drive

I believe most of these causes has more reason except under age driver, i believe that the most prevailing cause of road accidents is due to the influence of drugs and alcohol. Substance that could affect our eyesight or thinking is really dangerous for drivers especially when they are influenced by it while driving which causes accidents, i hope more governments will impose a more serious sanctions that violates this law.

for me the main cause of a road accident is driving when you are drunk. here in the philippines, it is the top reason why there is a road accidents.

This is one of the major causes in my area. I have seen people driving their cars at 70 mph, with one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand on their mobile phone. Unfortunately, it has almost become a norm here. In any other country, their license would be suspended immediately if they do something like that. But not here in India.

The main cause of accidents in the roads is I think human error,overspeeding,undiscipline drivers and driving while drunk..so always be cautious while driving,wear your safety devices and use your seatbelts because accidents always happen in the street everyday.

Careless drivers is one of the main reason why there are so many accident on the road. They drive so fast, they drive even they are drunk or they don't have enough sleep so they sleep while driving. Some drivers drive even without checking their car. If the car have a problem.

In my place, three people died in an accident today morning, at around 3 am. They were dropping one of their relatives to the airport and the accident happened after the driver fell asleep while driving. Some people get over-confident while driving. If you feel sleepy or drunk, then there is no harm in taking a break of 2-3 hours before resuming your journey.

they are not follow the road sign,,they are using cellphone while driving,drinking liqour while driving thats the few causes of road accidents.

In my country the biggest cause of road accidents is mainly due to the bad roads and a lot of potholes of the road, drivers try to avert it and they end up crashing into each and causing accidents.
