Main Cause of accidents/road safety

Road accident is most unwanted thing to happen to a road user, though they happen quite often. The most unfortunate thing is that we don't learn from our mistakes on road. Most of the road users are quite well aware of the general rules and safety measures while using roads but it is only the laxity on part of road users, which cause accidents and crashes. Main cause of accidents and crashes are due to human errors. We are elaborating some of the common behaviour of humans which results in accident.

which I often see in road accidents is a road user who does not appreciate other road users, for example, motorcycle drivers often use communication tools when driving, so do not concentrate on driving, then there is an accident against other road users. That is not yet realized by the users of the road.

Drivers with no discipline, drunk driving, poor road condition, poor vehicle condition. Those are the most common that I see in where I am today. Most of drivers lack discipline while driving on the highway. There are also drunk people who are driving and bumping into other cars/vehicles too. I've been travelling from time to time and I've seen some highways that are poorly maintained, and mostly no road signs.

Just this past holy week there is this bus who fall with too many fatality. I believe that it is poorly maintained  bus, it was also an older model bus.

You may have observed that everyone is in hurry while on road. How many of you leave for for your work or college before time ? I think when someone is leaving for office/college at time then he/she would be in hurry that can also be a cause of accident. There is not even a single road where accident does not occur daily. Thousands of people die each year during these accidents. How can we reduce road accidents?
What are the main factors responsible for accidents in your country ? In my country mostly traffic signal violation.

Road accident is very frequent on this day. As a civil engineering students, some factors that I see as a factor to road accidents are the following:

Improper design of roads
Misplacement of road warnings
Road rage
Traffic violation
Irresponsible driver
Drunk-driving

These factors are very frequent in the philippines. These should be reduce and be avoided to lessen the road accidents.

Drunk driving comes within reckless driving, and therefore there is no need to mention it separately. Reckless driving can be found everywhere, from the developing nations such as the United States to poor nations such as Nigeria. The only effective way is to cancel the license of people who break the traffic rules too often.

The main reason for the road accidents is not to drive fast as the car does not follow the traffic laws, and driving vehicles driving under the age of 18, and now it is seen that if traffic police and the government keep a lot of interest under the age of 18, then the road accident will be reduced.

First is being selfish - there were some drivers who drives like it was a racing, they don't even give away of some other drivers! Second is being reckless and disobedient - if you're drunk, don't drive! Third is broken roads - it should be fixed and lastly fourth - God's will.

In my country it is not so much fast driving, even drunk driving, but idiotic slow driving. No one gets persecuted driving half the allowed limited, but all the blame goes to the one who tries to overtake the half-dead moron. These morons have no drivers license/fake drivers license, and usually the most drunk of them all, but PLEASE don't blame them!!!

There are several factors that cause traffic accident, but generally all from negligence, eg the rider is too speeding. Usually this event often occurs on motorcycle users who are driven by young students or drunk youth. In addition, due to riders or drivers who sleepy because the journey is far and tiring.

If in my country that became a problem today too many vehicles that flooded the highway, especially when the morning started to go to work. All vehicles seemed to rush and race against death. As a solution it seems that there needs to be an update on the system from the modern to the conventional gear, eg motor engine is not too fast as well as the position of one-lane road with a safety frame dri left and right side. Thus will not happen to each other salip and accident would at least be avoided

Honestly it would be speeding and lane changing without blinkers, as a bike rider I cannot tell you how many times I almost lost my head because some juked up neanderthal in a BMW or Mercedes switched lanes at 90km/h without signaling or even checking his mirrors.

There are many factors that can lead to accidents, including drowsiness, drunkenness and violating traffic signs. lack of age can also lead to accidents, as well as with its own troubled transport equipment. keep body and vehicle conditions while traveling, obey past signs so that we do not harm others or ourselves.

One factor for this is distracted driving. People tend to have their attention distracted by other things, even speaking to another person or cellular phones. Sometimes, other person's negligence is the main cause of major accidents at roads. One of the main causes of road accidents are the drivers themselves because most of them are not that disciplined when it comes to abiding the law in the road. This why I cannot just put the blame on the road structures or natural calamities, despite knowing the consequences, still they take the risk believing the experiences that they have is enough.
