0.5-10
- ccminer 2.2.3. Compiled to support more platforms including AMD CPUs, added "phi" algo for LUX coin and others. Requires driver 384+ so you will need to upgrade very old systems if you want it.

at the moment you need to flash bios for undervolting. Maybe there will be update soon then undevolting will work from web panel. Meanwhile just flash it.

Getting a lot of false alerts for ccminer.  It seems that the miner is slow at reporting rates and the alert is being sent out too soon.

alerts of what? hashrate watchdog? or in telegram bot?
If it's  hashrate watchdog then run "wd log" to see what does it see.

In Telegram bot. Server offline/online.  Also the interface says NO GPU for a few refreshes, then it comes back again.  I've turned watchdog off because it thinks the miner has crashed when it really hasn't and then tries to restart the miner.

run "agent-screen" and watch for connection errors.
notifications are send every 5 minutes from previous state on server. so if it's online-offline instantly i suppose there are some problems sending stats.

OK - connection is ok. 0h/s from ccminer... It's hard to inspect it like this.

Could you please modify software watchdog to catch this?
Hashrate shows ~1500GH/s (lol) After miner restart

0.5-12 2017-12-11
- AMD undervolting now works from panel! Please set core voltage like 900 with DMP desired level.
- Restricted cryptonight.usa.nicehash.com and daggerhashimoto.usa.nicehash.com because Claymore DevFee could not miner there and crashed
- ccminer recompiled for event more CPU platforms like old AMD Phenom II
- ccminer could show hashrate even when GPU was hang, now stats detect this by zero temp on that card
- amd-info more convenient way to show AMD clocks
- rocm-smi more another utility for AMD clocks
- Turn Off LEDs on Nvidias from OC dialog. May not work on some cards.
- Latest drivers amdgpu-pro-17.40-492261 and NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-387.34. DOES NOT AUTOUPDATE, ONLY WITH NEW IMAGE
- Custom compiled Linux Kernel. DOES NOT AUTOUPDATE, ONLY WITH NEW IMAGE
- Claymore reboot did not actually happen on hang, fixed

Hi, Tried with Gigabyte RX 570 4GB 13 cards rig. Undervolting seems not working (used 900mv). Power consumption is fluctuating between 1200w and 1900w continuously. Hashrate is also fluctuating between 200 Mhs and 366Mhs. GPU 0 is always staying at 17 Mhs, Others getting at upto 29.10 Mhs.  Same results without Undervolting as well.

X server is not starting. Better to Disable this service by default because its taking lot of time to get the system fully started.

I have a lot of confirms now that it's working.
Did you set DPM state or only 900mv?
If you have power fluctations i would search for other reasons.
X server is starting just in 5 seconds, you should connect display to external GPU in 16x slot, not to internal GPU.
X server is really required for Nvidia cards so it will not be disabled.

I have set DPM state 5 and 900mv. May be i should try again on hive os. will try and get back with results. Thank you.

Hi Guys,

I'm going to try this instead of SMOS.  I have a couple of questions:

1) are the overclock values 1:1 from SMOS?  For example, I set
Core
Memory
Undervolt
Powerstage

Will settings be the same?  This is important because I host my rig at a datacenter and I need it to be same

2) does the order of the gpu appear in Hive perfectly, like slot 1 is gpu1, slot 2 is gpu2, etc?  SMOS was mixed up

1) yes, just the same
2) it's always messed up in linux, no relation to physical order. more details here http://forum.hiveos.farm/discussion/16/gpu-order
