IOTA most be the most talked about 'it's in my porfolio' coin around with so few exchanges it's traded on.  This will change of course.  I'm not into the tech a lot but if it becomes a standard in the 'internet of things' with micropayments, we haven't seen nothing yet I suppose.  I'm keeping this one in a wallet & I'm not trading it for years.  Cool

Sorry, but I don't really see how you can call iota the "NEXT" big thing. It has already had like an 800x increase in price since its debut, and consistently one of the top 10 coins on coinmarketcap. It already is a big thing...
Though it won't consider as NEXT big thing but because of being consistent one of the top10 coin in the market, still have potentiality to compete in the market. And not only the basis of being top coins, but the most important is if than can be potentially profitable if we hold it for a long time.

This thread has got my attention on IOTA and I'm ready to have a stake in this coin. Is there a service like blockchain with an IOTA wallet address or do I have to download the client or buy it from an exchange?

Yes IOTA looks very promising but with such a massive amount of coins can we really see any more then 10x? That would place them at around same marketcap as BCH at 3place. Maybe in a few years if money keeps pumping into crypto.

This is a misunderstanding of simple mathematics.
IOTA has not more, but less units then BTC. IOTAs are not divisible behind the 0.

And yes we will see IOTAs market cap near to ETH already in 2018. If not I will eat...a hamburger. Cheesy

Could you ELI5 how IOTA has less units than BTC? Is the key word there UNITS? Not supply, right?

I am normally checking coinmarketcap.com for the top coins. IOTA has been on the top but oftentimes lower than the top 10 list. But lately, IOTA has finally landed on the top 10. This is a very big step for IOTA. Right now, IOTA has reached the eighth rank with a market cap of more than 3.2 billion in US dollars. The price per IOTA has already reached $1.16 dollars. There will be more to come for this coin.

A paymetn system with zero transaction fee, of course that is big but what is a reasonable market cap for the coin?!

Is the idea that this will take over BitCoin or is the market of Ripple that IOTA is aiming for. Could someone enlighten me as to the possible size of the market for IOTA?
If we know that then we might eb able to calculate the possible gains of IOTA currently.

Yes, I also think that IOTA is really a potential coin. Its price always fluctuates, therefore it is suitable for daily trading.

Someone used my Account for 3 Month, why would someone do this?

Estimates for IOT are in the 10s of trillions, so assuming iota gets 1% puts you at much larger than Bitcoin--m2m networks bring new money into the market.

Thanks.
Several calls like that and I am gonna buy a castle too, ok maybe just a very small one. Cheesy

Now I am really curious if my next call Chainlink will be a lucky one too. The price is dumped, community is psychologically done, while Chainlink could solve a massive Ethereum problem (decentralized oracles) and go x10 easy. The sweetest time to buy.  Cheesy

Otherwise ETH, XMR, IOTA just hodl and enjoy the ride for the next years, it can be easy like that.

Haven't heard much at all about Chainlink, but coinmarket prices state that it's not going great. I have a couple questions about IOTA though, as I got in with a minimal investment yesterday.

How much higher do you think it can go? How long are you holding for and what was your average price?
