For me it's a consequence of holding bitcoin or other coins. In the end it does not produce anything so no need to think of holding bitcoin is greed. It's just a simple act to fight for your resources for your own expense. Cool

No. For me it is being patience with thw perfect time with the perfect moment we are all waiting for. I don't find it greedy, we just want it to he the best time and we don't want to regret every decision that we will make.

Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?

The concept of holding bitcoin that will backfire to the person is depends on how much was the price he bought or spent in bitcoin at the beginning. Furthermore, the longer you hold bitcoin, the riskier it would be as the money that will return to you will be lessened. There's nothing wrong in keeping up or saving money as long as you know when will be the right time you will finally use it.

It depends on your point of view about holding bitcoins. Example when bitcoin was $18 000 I didn't sell (all I have) , I'm still hold it not because I wanna earn more, it's because bitcoin became my daily routine to check news and market price about bitcoin. But I think that there are many greedy people out here who want earn more and more profit from bitcoin , so they holding.

It's not greed at all. I invest coins in the long term and by your logic I have to be called greedy Smiley
But this is not the case - I just chose bitcoin as a way to store money and am not going to spend it for a few years exactly.

bitcoin is currently just a store of value, so it wouldn't make sense to consider holding bitcoin greedy. I mean even if it was like RaiBlocks (meant to be used as a medium of exchange), there currently isn't enough support to really use crypto to use it as a medium of exchange yet so you can't really say holding any cryptocurrency is greedy.

This is not the case, investing in the long term is the safest and most profitable option for storing bitcoins. Trading on the stock exchange is very risky, though profitable. And I have nowhere to spend bitcoin. That's why I keep it.

Most likely it was necessary to write what holds bitcoin is not greedy, but wise. If we are dealing with crypto currency, then there is absolutely no point in acting at a loss. Therefore, every sane person who has the bitcoins will not sell them when they went for a decline in the price. This, at least it makes no sense.

On my own sight and understanding I see that holding is not  greedy it is the great way to become more knowledgeable and prudent it is just like collecting a chances or maybe opportunity to grab upon the present price below the line of crypto currency so then holding is strategy is maybe the most common on this field because it is really proven that holding with patience is profitable.

Many investors store bitcoin for quite some time and due to this have a very great success. This is the safest type of investment and I also prefer to do so.

No. You are holding what is yours. You didnt hack it or steal it or have taken by force so it is yours and you have the full right to hold it until when you like. The same also with money, you work for it and you have the right to whatever you want to do with it. It is not called greed.

if that person could buy bitcoin at a lower price or last 3 years ago, then holding bitcoin is great for him but if he buys bitcoin at this year, maybe he needs another year to hold his bitcoin. although we can see from the bitcoin history that will increase high for a long time, we need to have a strong patient to hold the bitcoin. but I don't think that bitcoin is the safest type of investment because of many people still afraid because of the price that is up and down too often and it always changes from time to time.

Holding the bitcoin is not a greedy or any bad act, because it’s your right to hold since that bitcoin is yours and you can do it what you want and another things holding is part of the process as well.

In my opinion I don't think hodling bitcoin is greediness, it is cols being wise, of course many people want to earn big money through Bitcoin, it also helps some person who are unemployed. I don't think that they'll end up nothing, because just like the motto: patience is a virtue.  Smiley

Not having anything at the end is different from what the purpose of the holder is. It is an investment strategy to even hodl in the first place, so if the hodler sleeps of it and not knowing when to let go of the coin, it is at the peril of the hodler and not called greed.

We have different views about a coin and if we believe that a coin would give us profit more when we hodl it, I don't concide to it as greed but as a perfect investing idea.
