If I am alone, do not hold too much bitcoin, because the rest I sell for personal purposes. I think it is not appropriate to call them greedy.  After all it is their coins,  meaning they can do anything with it.

I don't think that holding is greedy, when you holding bitcoin you are just hope that the price of bitcoin will go up and its just like an strategy for them to earn more and more. Why would investing in something you believe in is greedy while it's all theirs

It just a matter of being wise. You just only know when and where to spend your money. All of us wont experienced to lessen their money much so that they will do to hold their money. As rising bitcoins prices going moon, many people always continue to buy and save it. I think this will certainly be a boomerang in future.

Holding bitcoin does not make one greedy.  If this was the case, everyone who invest in the stock market is also greedy.  Do you think you will never have a profit and you will get a loss on your money instead? That will never happen. Bitcoin is for long term investment. If you are patient, your future worth will increase.

Because I think that you do not have to sell your bitcoins a bunch when they go for a decline. Greed that you have a lot of them and if you have a lot to sell them all.

Holding back bitcoin isn't greediness. Youre just trying to be smart. You're just trying to wait until the time you were waiting and the price goes up. Greedy is the one who keep on having a lot of money by theirselves without having the effort to make it grow or Atleast give a little portion of to someone they love. But i guess, the thinking of this idea of the other people might be true because bitcoin has a value that make a living.

Holding bitcoin is the best way or one of the best ways of making profit today, and I wouldn't say that, that is is being greedy. I think it is wise to continue holding bitcoin to really make a profit.

Its not greedy, its investing.  You have to leave all that stuff behind and try to make money.  I wish there was no poverty etc in the world, but in the mean time I gotta pay the rent.  I would like to buy a house but the market is nuts right now so I will have to wait.If you have invested huge amount and bitcoin course falls before you sold your bitcoins, then of course it`s will be huge loss, and if investment amount was small, then you can take a chance.

Yes it is.Holding Bitcoin stops the circulation of it from one person to another. You are pooling everybody just to earn big. Aside from that being addicted into gambling was also showing a greediness.

I just wanted to echo the entire feeling of this thread. Holding bitcoin isn't greedy from the holder's point of view. Most of the times, people keep their holdings to save it up for some special need in the future and not act rashly. Aiming to have financial  freedom as long as you are not scamming people can't also be considered greedy.

Being greedy sometimes good. It also show that a person have plans and ambition for the future. They thinking what wil they do in the gains they gain in the future.we hold bitcoin as a form of investment and i believe it will only be considered as an act of greed if the bitcoin that we are holding is from other people's efforts and expense.

Here greed doesn't matter it's all about your faith if you don't have trust in bitcoin you can sell rather than holding btc. I don't think so people will end up with zero value because in the present market it is booming, demand is increasing day by day and as well as popularity too.But who could we blame, we've seen how bitcoin has become in this past years and have already regretted for not holding a long time ago. Greedy or not, I think holding bitcoin is also smart.

It's not a greedy thing to hold a bitcoin, for me it's a technique to get even more profitable. I don't believe so. It would be like saying that putting your savings in the highest interest bank is greedy. There is an opportunity to invest in something which can legally return both long and short term gains, to take that opportunity can't be greedy.

People can do whatever they want with their bitcoins. There are a lot of people who are more into long term investment. We can not call them greedy for this

For me, holding bitcoin is never greedy because you are just doing it as a strategy to gain profit, it is an investment to begin with. It is the smart or wise thing to do in order to ensure that you will gain profit for the time, effort and bitcoin you invested in.

Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?

Will i don't think you can call it greed but for those who keep holding bitcoin for long term it is their way of investment and they do believe that bitcoin price has still potential to have much higher price.

I think it's not about greed, but they are trying to make what they have now useful for the future. They invest as best as possible in order to succeed in the future. They think if they hold it then it will benefit in the future. It's about the best way to get the most out of my thinking. That's just my opinion.
