I think best way to explain it is to consider it as a digital asset whose value increases with its increasing demand and one can use that asset to buy services and goods.

Show them the money you earn.

This is exactly the problem. If you want to make people aware of Bitcoin, you'll explain them how they can benefit from using Bitcoin in various aspects. If they at some point have enough understanding of what Bitcoin is and how this market works, these people will look for ways to make money themselves. If you explain them how they will be able to "earn" money, they'll just turn into greed filled baboons. People act like money is growing on trees here, but the fact of the matter is that everything you do involves a certain risk, and these risks should never be discarded. It's what separates winners from the losers....

Exactly - risks are very real.

You should use words that are common to them or explain each word that is complicated for them. And you can also use videos, there are many videos on youtube that will help to explain what is bitcoin.

I believe that the easiest way to get a person to give your his attention when you want to explain bitcoin to him is to mention the money first. Make him believe he can get paid later when he starts working and you get his full attention. It's the same way i used it when i introduced bitcoin to a friend of mine. Then you start explaining the basic rules and information like the value of bitcoin and the use of bitcoin. It all comes easy if he wants to really learn. The most important thing is how to make him want to be a part of bitcoin community.
The easiest way to explain and teach about bitcoin is to give a simple but efficient introduction on its history, then show him how it really works. Make sure that in every explanation you do, you are catching his attention and making him like to be a part of it. It is very possible since you are teaching him how to be involve in a very productive market system. How to gain coins for riches.

If you are going to teach it with the child who is 7 year old, you are going to use the word that can easily understand or comprehend them, but it really depends on the child if the child is not interested they will not easily understand it coz we all know that age is not the age that a child will give time to understand it. There is a child who are very curious but only few.
Precisely, I guess it will be tough for you teach a 7 year old because as far as I know they all want is fun and they don't care about earning future. Though they are curious in many things still they prefer to waste their time on playing rather than earning. Maybe you should teach them if they are on the right age.

Before teach bitcoin to other I think you should learn bitcoin first. You have to start learning bitcoin from the basic. After that you can start teaching bitcoin. And teaching depends on who is the learner, how old is he.If you are teaching to someone who is 18+ then you can teach him about bitcoin in deep.Because he can understand the deeper things.I think you should always teach basic things to your learner first which is really important.Like bitcoin is the first crypto currency which is online and offline based. It's untraceable and you can send bitcoin to worldwide. Also you can say about bitcoins high price etc.

Yes, that's the better way and to make that effective its good to create a wallet for the new user then describe it in terms of USD. If he understood it, then take him to an bitcoin trading website and explain the way of converting bitcoin to local currency upon requirement.
I think the easy way to explain and teach bitcoin by sharing your knowledge to others, by teaching them the basic concept, how it works and how they can earn. Although it easy to explain but is hard when you teaching a person but not listening to you.

At its simplest, Bitcoin is either virtual currency or reference to the technology. You can make transactions by check, wiring, or cash. You can also use Bitcoin (or BTC), where you refer the purchaser to your signature, which is a long line of security code encrypted with 16 distinct symbols. The purchaser decodes the code with his smartphone to get your cryptocurrency. Put another way; cryptocurrency is an exchange of digital information that allows you to buy or sell goods and services. The transaction gains its security and trust by running on a peer-to-peer computer network that is similar to Skype, or BitTorrent, a file-sharing system.

Yes I agree but before we teach others about bitcoin we will have to make sure that we already know the existence and the history of bitcoin for us to give them the right information about bitcoin. We must have to gather information about bitcoin before we tell or teach others about this. And if you know already the whole story of bitcoin then it is now easy to teach others and it is easy for them to understand us.

How to Explain Bitcoin to a 7-Year-Old
Quote
I’ve been explaining how Bitcoins work since 2010. Here is the simplest analogy I’ve discovered that explains transactions, anonymity, and coin production.

There’s a room that anyone can access. The room has security cameras that anyone can view, and every second of recorded footage is available online forever.

The room is filled with indestructible piggy banks made of transparent plastic. Naturally, these piggy banks have coin slots, and everyone can see which coins are in which piggy bank. These piggy banks can never leave the room.

Each person has a key that can open their piggy bank. Let’s say I want to buy a pair of alpaca socks, and you want to sell them.

First, you tell me which piggy bank is yours. Then, I walk into the room with a ski mask on. Anyone in the world can see me on the security cameras, but not my face.

Next, I unlock my piggy bank, take some coins out, then put them into your locked piggy bank. I leave the room.

Now, everyone in the world knows that your piggy bank has coins that were previously in my piggy bank. This is the case with every transaction, so everyone knows the history of every coin.

“So where do the coins come from? How did it start? Who got the first coins?”

There’s a robot in the room that runs lotteries. Every so often, this robot randomly chooses a piggy bank in the room, and puts 50 coins in it. When it first started, there weren’t many piggy banks in the room since nobody knew about it. Back then, it was easy to win the lottery. Today, there are millions of piggy banks in the room, so your odds aren’t very good.

“Ok, couldn’t someone make their own fake coins?”

No, because everyone has records of every coin in the room, and they know when the robot hands new coins out. If a fraud were to put fake coins into his own piggy bank, everyone would know that those coins were never handed out by the robot, and wouldn’t accept them.

“Who made the robot..?”

Supposedly it was a super genius Japanese man named Satoshi Nakamoto, but nobody knows for certain. Since the security camera footage is available from 2009, we can see that the robot was putting coins into a piggy bank since day 1. We assume it’s Satoshi, but that’s about all we know.

“… Crazy.”

For me the easy way and explain bitcoin are:
1. The learner must be interested and very willing to learn.
2. Tell them the origin of the bitcoin and how it works
3. The benefits of the bitcoin and the profit that you can get from this by adding the ingridients of hardwork and patience.
4. Last the proof of your cash out from bitcoin.

I do agreed with what you stated bro. Actually just do also the things what was the reason why you engaged in bitcoin. I mean your reason how you convinced yourself to tried it. And proof of cash out from bitcoin really catched my attention why i'm here now. 😊

Explain and teach bitcoin for kids or old people will not difficult if they really want to know and learn this stuff. First time when i came to bitcoin world, i dont know anything except the name of what i want to research - bitcoin, after few month i knew everything necessary to earning bitcoin and money. In my opinion, when people interested in something, they will have the will to study and research the subject they want, it will be easy to teach someone like that !

Teaching Bitcoin to a kid and to an adult is quite different. Both must have the willingness to listen and learn. Kids are kind of distracted to many things so we must keep them focus by providing some creative visual aids when teaching it to them. We should also explain the benefits of Bitcoin to them and why do we need to teach it. But if we noticed that the kid do not have any interest on it, maybe those things aren't on his mind yet. Let's just wait for a little more time (when he grow up) until he's the one to start the discussion about it.

I think that one of the easiest way to explain bitcoin is to tell them what benefits they can get in it. In kids, you must first get thier attention and telling them what they can earn is one of the wisest way to have thier interest. Next is explain them why bitcoin is important for us specially to them, the new generations, also talk about on what is bitcoin is and how its system works. Lastly you must tell them what are the advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin for them to be ready in encountering it in the future.
