Thank you for suggestion. There are something suspicious for me or just I didn't understood the difference between Solo and Pool mining. More than 12Hours I'm mining with 10 computers ~3 KH/sec to my Wallet and still there are no ROI When mining to Wallet, I'll get 120 ROI only when find block and nothing else during the mining ? When mining to Pool, I'll get 120ROI when find block and some payment for the mining ? I'm confused . Can somebody explain please google is your friend https://captainaltcoin.com/what-is-pool-mining/OK I'll read it. One more stupid question: Does I'm successfully mining to Wallet in case all clients show only thread 0: 977 hashes, 91.94 hash/s thread 0: 1044 hashes, 98.59 hash/s LONGPOLL pushed new work LONGPOLL pushed new work thread 0: 415 hashes, 58.81 hash/s thread 0: 986 hashes, 93.22 hash/s There are no lines like, "accepted: 1/1 (100.00%), 72.98 hash/s (yay!!!)" , or it show such lines only when mining with Pool ? Hi , Don't know which hodlminer you are using but it was fixed in my fork , https://github.com/ghobson2013/hodlminer-wolf/releasesTheTDD submitted the pull request that shows hashrate on longpoll calls.

Anybody known why intel boost tech. is not active when mining whit hodl mining ? The option is enabled in BIOS, my cpu clock multiplier is x27 max. but when i mining is working in max. x23. Maybe you are experiencing thermal throttling. My laptop does that when mining hodl algorithm. Actually I think that is the most power hungry algo I have seen so far. If you install Intel extreme tuning utility, you can see if it is in fact throttling :-)

Definitely there are something wrong in ROI mining. More than 24hours Solo mining to 1 Wallet with 10 clients ~ 4KH/s and there are no income to the wallet. More than 12hours mining to stratum+tcp://stratum.coinspool.cu.cc:3042 and no income to the wallet, on Workers Stat the balance increase to 20ROI and then again 0 , but nothing comes to the wallet. Same thing in Round Stats , shares increase to few ten thousands then again 0 and no income to the wallet. Now I try pool mining to http://roi.optiminer.pl:8081/ and on each few minutes I'm receiving ~2ROI to wallet. The strange for me that income type now from Optiminer is , before 2day when I did Solo and Pool mining to coinspool the income type was . Definitely there are something not clear in all this mining. By the way stratum.coinspool.cu.cc have some DNS issue and not resolving but you can open by their IP 45.77.223.74

By the way stratum.coinspool.cu.cc have some DNS issue and not resolving but you can open by their IP 45.77.223.74 4KH is not that much when there is 250KH on the network.... Solo mining becomes a game of chance. Coins pool is having problems at the min so you will not get much there untill there problems have been fixed. Optiminer splits the block as its mined. So you see what the pool has sent you but you can not use the coins for 360 confirms. Its much like a solo mined block. Just that its a cut of the block and not the full block. The coin is working as it should. Its just the method of mining that changes and the way the coins are sent to you. Coins pool will have them for 360 blocks untill you have 20 coins out of the blocks mined that have all had 360 confirms and then the pool sends them to your wallet. So the only thing that differs from optiminer pool to coins pool is the way its payed. The amount of coin you can make will be the same on both pools with regards to how much hash you have to how much the total network hash is. Raster.

Anybody known why intel boost tech. is not active when mining whit hodl mining ? The option is enabled in BIOS, my cpu clock multiplier is x27 max. but when i mining is working in max. x23. https://s19.postimg.org/szig1it5f/Untitled.pngMaybe you are experiencing thermal throttling. My laptop does that when mining hodl algorithm. Actually I think that is the most power hungry algo I have seen so far. If you install Intel extreme tuning utility, you can see if it is in fact throttling :-) I look in the bios and i have 2 cores on x27 ratio, 1 core on x25, 2 core on x24 and the rest are on x23 ratio. If i disable all core except 2 it will ran on x27 ratio. I discover another ''problem''. I have 8 giga ram (2x4giga dual channel) if i remove one memory the max. hash rate is 550, but if i insert second memory the hash increases at 850 - 950 hash/s. So why is this happening since 1 giga is needed for search pattern ?

So why is this happening since 1 giga is needed for search pattern ? Hmm. I believe that most i-series chips does a gradual turbo binning. So that not all cores will reach the full turbo-boost multiplier simultaniously. What exact model of i7 is this? And the difference in hashrate that you observe when removing one of your memory stick is probably related to the benefits of dual channel memory bandwith. I suspect that the 1Gb search pattern is divided by the memory controller between both sticks. EDIT: Also you seem to have disabled hyperthreading?!? Is your chip a XEON E5 2650 v4?

I just made a bunch of very cool updates to the coin market cap site and would really appreciate your feedback. Is there any reason why you wouldn't use this site? If so please let me know. I have built this market cap site based on how I would want it to be! https://cryptocapworld.com

Yes, it's a xeon e5 2650 v4 es (es means engineering sample). Hyper threading is disabled by me in the bios.

Thank you very much Raster, for such kind of explanation I'd asking in last few posts. Now the things became clear for me and probably some other members. CoinsPool definitely have some issues, but in last 12 hours I received few transactions from there... Looks like they pay for the mining just with some delay. Optiminer take 2% fee but sending to wallet more often and I can see the mining give results. About Solo mining it's total disaster for me or I just have bad luck... Before 3 days I created my first wallet and somehow I get 120ROI , probably I get luck.. Next day I created 2nd Wallet on another PC and start 10 computers to mine to this Wallet. After 24 hours mining there are no any result, probably solo mining is really game of chance and I just didn't get luck.

Alright. I think you should try enabling HT and try mining 24 threads instead of 12 and see where that takes you. Also it is quite interesting what you experience when removing one ram block. I think this the first time I hear of CPU being bottle-necked by ram when mining ROI. But it sure does sound like that is what is happening here Maybe you could achieve even higher hashrates if you played around with running several instances of the miner. Like 4 instances running each 6 threads. Hence utilizing 4Gb of ram instead of just 1. Exited to hear your results!

I did some tests with HT In benchmark without HT i have a max. of 850h/s and with HT it's close to 1000h/s Curious, i ran 4 instances, as you said, each instance with 6 threads and i see 270-280h/s on each instance.
