not all... some are for those SOME OF hungry people and multiple accounts who is mainly the campaign manager does the work and ICO scam..
many of people here are being scamed mainly because manager takes more tokens or stakes for bounty because they have the access to distribution
some yess scam but mostly not all it is the people behind who manages it

90%? are you kidding me? no way, where did you get that statistics? most ico's are actually legit and i can say 90% of them are infact legit and have a real project and not just a pump and dump scheme. ive been investing on ico's on the past and to be honest i have not been scammed not even once because im taking much time to do a research on what is worth it for money , not just guessing them.

Mostly of the airdrops now a days is really scam and it is only dead coin, the only intention they are doing it is to get our information or personal information and use it. Unlike before airdrop are really good and the coin that they give is really promising after they released it in exchanges. ICO are good to invest for but still be careful because there are lot of scam of icos now

99.9 is scam Angry

I this is not a right statement from you,as we have ICO project that are out to scam, same way we have a lot that have a real project to deliver, what did you use to measure the 99.9%,in order not to discourage and miss lead intending investor.
To get the best from ICO you must be ready to research and read  the project whitepaper, do not follow the crowd to invest or be sentimental about your investment.
Alot of project have real product to deliver to the real world.

Im sure they are not gonna put their names and pictures on the website if they are scammers
i think the reason why almost ico 's fail is because of the buyers of coins
they buy so much that they almost thaking 50-60 percent of the coin
then keep it, after the coins are in the exchange they are going to dump the coin to which they cant recover
its not the dev and the companies fault, they do what ever it takes, but we dont do our part
helping it to grow, you just go instant profit

Why are you so sure that 90% are scam? Why don't you say that 90% of startups in Silicon Valley are scam? The majority of ICOs are not so successful as they could be but not scam.

Not at all some ICO's is scam some has a good intention to the community and there vision is to make the coin be on the top of the list of the successful Altcoin in the planet,it depends on the developer if the developer has a good intention not just to get more profit from there investor, but they make the project proposal realistic to gain trust and reputation.

I think nevery ico is scam but for me personally I never invest on ICO. It is just that I invest only to something that I am confident with, something that is reliable enough to risk my hard earned money. I just make it to a point that to whatever I invest I make sure that I have a higher ratio of reward that risk of losing it. And as  for ICO, I have a higher risk of being scammed than making it a profitable investment. And I always remember myself that never regret if the ICO became successful and exponentially profit from it. If it is a potential investment then it will always have a good entry point to trade.

It's a big NO! Is some ICO a scam? Yes. Not all ICO are scams because that is the most effective way to distribute their coins to the market. ICOs are also the best option for attracting investors, partners and supporters.

it's of course not the case that every ICO out there is a scam, but the majority of them don't provide any significant product or service and they're just looking to make a quick buck. There are a few projects out there however that do have a plan and acutally put the money they have raised in good use. That's the tricky part of ICO's.. they are not regulated and therefore anyone can join, literally anyone who has no experience about investing, so many end up getting rekt and losing their money. It's one of the reasons why China decided to ban ICO's alltogether, people were getting way too much scammed and it only made sense to stop further expansion of the problem. Regulation is not bad after all, as long as it gives innovation enough air to breath.

I htink that  many projects want  deliver something good.
Problem is that many of that projects will fail it doesn't mean its scam.
When you go for ICO you taking HUGE risk because you believe in people who often give no fuck about you at all.
But this is krypto to win you need to play.

Nope not every ICO is a scam but most of them are scam and also many of the ICO are going to fail as they don't seem to be promising and are just trying to get some hands on the money. If you want to invest in ICOs make sure that the coin your are investing in is legit and can be good investment by researching about the team, their cap value and read about that coin just to make clear that the coin in legit and has potential to grow.
