No every ICO is not a scam. Just like diamonds are hidden between coals in the same way ICO which are like gems hidden among scam ICOs. One needs to be picky while investing in an ICO.

ICO Scam in my opinion is much less than you stated. Many projects are simply not implementing their road map.You know even 10 percent of successful ICO will attract a lot of attention to the cryptocurrency industry.Of course I want no scammers at all.

Most of the ICOs projects are scam, it's take investor so much time before they found a better ICO, especially when there's deep everywhere and many projects finds it difficult to survive in this time.... Only a few project can survived.

According to Satis Group, 81% of all launched ICO is a scam. They are aimed at taking your money. In this situation it is necessary to carefully approach the choice of the project where you can invest. About this written many articles. Be careful.

Everybody keeps on saying scam scam scam for all of these ICO's. 90% of them are crap, yes. BUT there is the 10% of them, like vector, who are absolutely not scams. They are good projects that will really help the crypto community grow and its not fair to call an ICO a scam until you have actually researched it and you are sure it is a scam.

Just my two satoshis...

Well it’s a complicated one
You advertised vector indirectly and I can inform you that I never heard about it
Why does an exchange site use .io domain ?

What team are behind it??
Are you really a newbie ? I doubt

Not all ICO is a scam, there are many that are honest and true to their project launching, actually this ICO are becoming scams , but first they have a good platform, but as the project is runnning , the project can not get their targetted cap ,so they run away from investors and it will be declared as scam project at the end.

I support your statement, not every ICO is a scam. Like you say 90% might be scam and 10% genuine launch ICO. But how can one figure out which ICO is genuine or not?. In spite of the fact, It's quite easy to figure that by going through the ICO whitepaper, to get the full detail of what the project is all about. Recently a tweet was made about a project "Linkchain" termed it as scam or something. It is the legit ICO I have known with good objective, an ICO proposed to fill the gap in the freelancing platform, an ICO proposed not purposely to dash out tokens to bounty hunters but, to investors who believe and have foreseen the future of job platform being taken to the next level. I say kudos to the CEO, founder and developers  of Linkchain project, Conston Taylor.

The fact is that because of the poor state of the market, very few investors are ready to invest their money in his company. In addition, fraudulent projects greatly spoil the overall picture of the ico companies market, and therefore the investment climate is declining. If you look through the prism of the negative in all this, then even a more or less promising project may not have a good chance of development.

I would go further then to say. Almost every crypto project is a scam. Apart from a handfull projects. Every crypto is a scam. You had better invest fiat into the stock market at least there is some form of regulation. Regulation is not all bad, it also protects investors from blatant scammers, which are rampant in crypto world.

Of course, every ico isn't the scam project, but it is possible to say that ninety percent of the ICO's are scam.

Not every ico is scam, there are good ICOs out there and people are making something out of it.
Before you go for any ICO, make your research and don't fall for the hype. Be convinced enough that it's worth before you invest.

I think investment in ICO is always considered a form of venture capital, contains a lot of risk. Not all of them are fraudulent, fraudulent projects are often recognizable because the information on it is completely sketchy and not as well invested as real projects.

I don'T think that most of the ICOs out there are intentional scammers. Many of those projects believe in what they are doing, but when it comes to the day where they need to implement their ideas many projects are suspended because it was too theoritcally or similar.

OP, you are the CEO or say developer of vector and you are the one attesting to it. Well, it is good, but if any other person wants to invest into it, it will be better for such to research on it. All the same, thanks for bringing your project to our notice.

The main indication me and my team look for are the team members. Are they accreditted? Do they have a linkedin available? Do they have reputation to lose?
