Check this out. This is just terrible. https://news.bitcoin.com/80-of-icos-are-scams-only-8-reach-an-exchange/
So we have 8 in 10 chances to be scammed. Good thing that they only waste our time, but this never comes back either!

yeah .. this is the biggest year of the scam. where a lot of projects are left running away by project makers ... they seem to go without responsibility. after getting investment from investors they ran away without thinking of the people who had supported it
I think not all of the ico is scam, there are some ICO that is not scam and profitable it depends on how do we understand and choose good ICO for good. We need to choose widely because we can loss or gain on ico due to the different types of ICO scam we need to be more careful about it.
You are right, we have to be very careful and carefully choose ico prekta. There is a lot of swindlers, but there are also serious projects. It is difficult to make out them, but nevertheless it is possible.

Some ICOs are scam and it takes a while for them to list their token on exchange and once it gets listed the price of it is less than you bought.. so you need to wait until the price gets high and sell it on the right time. you know that a lot of investors cant wait to dump their tokens. If you want to make sure you joined in a legit project then you need to make a research and the team behinds.

Everybody keeps on saying scam scam scam for all of these ICO's. 90% of them are crap, yes. BUT there is the 10% of them, like vector, who are absolutely not scams. They are good projects that will really help the crypto community grow and its not fair to call an ICO a scam until you have actually researched it and you are sure it is a scam.

Just my two satoshis...
There is another 10%, Ruby-X! Bounty Campaigns are only 10 days left. There are 6 bounties! Check our bounty thread and get free tokens!
there are two airdrops as well.

Not EVERY ICO is a scam, but the majority of them are so. It is sad because really worthy ICOs could not be improved thanks to these scams and lose money.

It is really true that majority of ICO's are scam and it is so unfortunate for all of us who invested our time, effort and money in these kind of projects. However, this is a lesson to us to be more keen and do not just be attracted easily to big offers because that is mostly their strategy to attract investors.

I think there are not a few projects that want to achieve success. Now even very strong projects are losing in the price. Because if the token fell heavily in price, it does not mean that this project is a scam.

Of course not, it's not true. How many good projects have been carried out, Etereum by the way, too, when it was only a project that distributed its coins to the bounty hunters, or do you think that Etereum is also a scam?

maybe because getting an ICO project that ended in a scam immediately considered all ICOs scam, even though there were still many good and proven ICO projects but because one mistake made everything affected.

Maybe some of the ICO because of the broad people that creating coins or tokens for fun. They just doing it just to scam and not to help others. We must be observant though as we are choosing an ICO to join and to invest in. One of the real problem in the market that has a big impact on the population and market of the cryptocurrency. We must be patient and smart though in choosing on ICO in the first place.

This is not so, because you should understand that if every project were a scam project, then we would not have any crypto currency today and it would have been forbidden by law for a long time and it was generally stupid to invest in a scam.

About 5% - no. These are legally registered companies that take serious responsibility for the funds received at the ICO stage. As a rule, they already have a prototype of their own project, which certainly has a positive impact on the final cash collections of the campaign. But this, as you know, a rarity in this market.

I heard recently about an analysis saying that around 85% of all ICOs in 2018 were scams or didn't fulfill their promises to the full extent.
A bit lazy now to search the info about vector, just hope that this project met your expectations and you reached your goals.

Is every ico a scam? Not all ico is a scam but many people benefit from the ico amount of money investing here but we should also be careful not to scam us because we have to worry about our ico so we should keep an eye on what we do in ico.

yes, i agree with you, to avoid the scam ICO, we need to be critical of the information about the project, before we decide to invest in the ICO, we must investigate the project first, website, whitepaper and information about the team must be searched as clearly as possible

a small part of ico are no scam, but most of them do. there are still promising ico projects, but finding them is not easy. especially for me as a beginner it is not easy. but i learn every day here in the forum how to recognize them.
