I don't agree with the idea of free money. because we need to get money for make investing with bitcoin.
Why bitcoin? because bitcoin bank is your ICO still run the business with post submission.
And we also need to say that there are good ICOs are really needed and bring benefits.
so, there is no way to get money free from ICO but we can get money.

No way. There are serious projects, serious teams around ICOs. You cannot just label all as Ponzi. Without ICOs success, the blockchain will fail, keep this in mind. Check ICOs which have companies behind, with experience, technical and business background, large teams, prototypes ongoing, public git, etc... check Sether.io, check Trade.io and so on.

Yes, every one here is here to earn money. ICO is an organised way to earn money. Only few ICO are real and have to establish a project.

Most of the projects are unfortunately exploiting the ICO scene right now and take advantage of the system. That's why people are advocating regulation, because it will put some logic in this entire thing. At the moment it's a fest of just splurging money right and left until you hit something, but that's not sustainable. It's a great way to gather funds but if everyone does it for products or services that offer to real value, then the investment itself becomes valueless, and you end up losing your invested capital.

Well yes, 90% ICO are fake only. The sole purpose is to earn and run away. And the best thing is you don't even have to give any fiat or real coin to your investors. Just take their money, toss them some random erc token and disappear. But that being said, there are many projects which use ICO to gather funds and develop real projects like golem, lunyr, decentraland, steemit etc. So all ICOs are not bad, but most are!!

I think if you dont know some manager of ICO, you didnt know if it scam or not. Some ICO will be stopped when the ICO must have a single time to be finished.

I havent experience any ICO that are scam.

I think it's true, but not all ICO. because we also have to choose the ICO, because not all ICO will succeed, because most ICO that fails even there is also a deceptive ICO.

There are many ico will let you receive their free coin with very simple requirements. Why do not you try them? Not too much time and just a wallet with erc20 technology support.

It is estimated that the number of ICOs with elements of fraud reaches 40 percent. It's really quite a lot. This situation arose in connection with the fact that the fees for the ICO are huge and they are not controlled by anyone. It is necessary that states begin to monitor this process, eliminating possible risks, and investors to choose projects that are conducted in countries where such regulation exists. Otherwise, the number of frauds will only increase.

In my opinion ICO not ponzi but some of them any fraud so many investor lose their money. This happen usually with premined coin that many supply hold by their developer so incase that developer dump the price by sell many coin then their investor will be lose in value of token. But also many legit ICO that have working product already that given many benefit to the investor.

I agree with you. The hard work is how to define which one is fraud. One thing is to avoid of ICO with premined coins, but the rest any individual must define by itself.

I do not know why! I only think that Ico project is a more modern Ponzi method right now.  Huh
How about you, YES OR NOR ?   Huh

I can yes and no, because not all ICOs project are trash and only for quick bucks. Some of them are real and a good one, the rest are trash and in the first they talks good but when they collected many funds from the ICO, they abandoned the project, no update about the project and dead.

Recently this is true that ICOs are the good way for earning free money with working for bounty which is a promotion program that are brought by the company bringing with ICO. But most of the ICOs I think wastage of time because they are giving very low amount of reward even not mere $1 also. In spite of working for 2 or 3 month you get hardly $20.

I do agree in that, Ico's today has a great amount of payout which motivate the consumers to invest in their coin and support their community, Developers to day are very generous in paying a good amount of money on the users.

yes you can earn free money specially in free air drop just keep joining and joining and if you get lucky the coin that been given to you can be traded and convert to money. but now a days there are so many ICO that their agenda is to scam investors and i have lot of coins from ICO that has no value yet Angry but if you are not busy enough you can keep joining in every ICO to receive more coins

YES, I also think so, most of the time, the ICO project describes a bright future, but not what technology products, to get the money, this looks like a ponzi scheme.

I believe it is not free money nor it is easy money.

You have to think a lot, to read and research a lot so you could make a right choice and gain some profit.

And don't forget you can lose all your money in a blink of an eye.

I more worried what is the next step for them. Ok, they got their money and delivered the product. I doubt that companies like Amazon would invest in them, because they don't know about crowd-founders.

The ICO participants are the ones contributing to this, because they just throw their money into any hype around.   I have seen some ICOs without any product, not even proof of concept raising so much money than required because of the hype,  i have also seen good project with proof of concept and alpha version of product not raising enough money because it was not hyped. If people can take time to research about a project value proposition,  use cases,  product development,  the team behind the project and other vital variables before putting money in,  we will be able to reduce the number of shit ICOs that become successful.
