Now, comparing to what was happening a half of year ago- ICO is more scam and worthless projects that just came from the idea of fresh, easy and free money.
It's true, lately ICO market is in a very bad condition, there are many projects that are created by people with poorly written plan or scams. Perhaps with the introduction of regulatory tools, the situation will change for the better and we will see more good projects and less scammers.

That certainly depends on the ICO, if the project is really worthy and honest it just needs some money to start and u will recieve some money from it, but in this sphere appeared a lot of fake ICO's which steal money and make bad reputation about cryptoworld.

I do not know why! I only think that Ico project is a more modern Ponzi method right now.  Huh
How about you, YES OR NOR ?   Huh

I do not think it looks like a Ponzi scheme. It's more like an IPO and it's an excellent tool for raising funds for new projects and developing new technologies. Here the most important thing is to choose quality projects and not to get scammed!

we can call it free money. It is an investment like you do in crowdsales for start-up companies. You need to put money first and then you can gain dividend.

If you only recently learned about the existence of ICO, then this post is for you! I want to recommend you a reliable and perspective project, which I use. The project Vireo will make you a good impression and motivate to use ICO constantly!

In most cases, ICO projects are really scammers, but among the total there are very good and useful projects that you should pay attention to. I hope that in the near future, norms will be developed for the security of both investors and project developers.

Yes Indeed. Most ICO hired a bounty hunter for them to advertise their project to social medias like facebook , twitter , youtube and telegram. This makes you get a token to be exchange to fiat which is free money and all you need to do is effort and internet.

What surprises me is that when you do a good job in marketing and have a sleek site, you can get easy millions in investments from the public. Starting your own company without blockchain will never get you this much. So for startups it's easy money, but I do hope that the teams will follow through with their ideas. But you could say their companies are way overvalued.

So is ICO free money? It's easy money, but investors want a return too, and big investors could get influence in teams. At least I'd like to see that - the same as owning company shares, or having investors in 'standard' companies, they bet with their money to get a percentage stake in the company.

Definitely in our time should approach the choice of ICO very carefully. The choice to make more and more difficult out of thousands of projects, one person is almost impossible.

Problem with establishing "norms" is that a little bit of regulation often leads to over-regulating every aspect of the market.

It is the deregulation, or lack of regulation, that has risk but potential for great reward.

Definitely, no.
I mean no scam projects can be sued if they cheat or do something wrong. Also now  the contributors are much more sophisticated in their choice - the weak projects won't get money easily
Yes, maybe the requirements have tightened and they are responsible. But when did it stop scammers? This means only one thing, that after such innovations have people emerge false confidence.

There are so many scam projects that investing in the ico period has become very risky. The profit of the investment you make is very difficult, there is a lot of coins that have not entered the exchange Smiley

The fact that the market of crypto-currency and ICO is not regulated by legislation leads to the fact that some people refer to the ICO as easy money.
Many ICO simply copy the idea of a successful project.
I saw the ICO that are absolutely not active in social networks.
Some of them just create websites and wait for someone to transfer money to them.

Hello everyone! In fact, Yes, now many ICO are scams, collect money, and then wave a pen. But there are also normal responsible projects. Just to understand and identify them among the masses of fakes, you need to conduct a detailed analysis of the project. And then you will understand exactly whether to spend time and effort on this ICO.

As for me, I don't think so, because today there are many reliable and ambitious projects that really provide benefits. But before investing, you need to conduct a thorough analysis to avoid the risk of fraud.

The answer is YES if you are talking about ponzi method. A lot of ICO's are doing it nowadays. They just do everything they can to make money out of ICO's and runaway once they have enough. For those who doesn't know what ponzi means, you can google it or read the meaning below.

A Ponzi scheme (/ˈpɒnzi/; also a Ponzi game)[1] is a fraudulent investment operation where the operator provides fabricated reports and generates returns for older investors through revenue paid by new investors, rather than from legitimate business activities or profit of financial trading. Operators of Ponzi schemes can be either individuals or corporations, and grab the attention of new investors by offering short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent.

any ICO project is not free, and it is impossible since the start of the ICO project to date, even ICO is at risk for beginners, who are still in the learning phase, as many ICO projects are a growing fraud for victims who are easily tempted by large profit offers.

In the world there is nothing such as free money. Depending your profile, ICO could be better than trading.

Last year you could make a hell of money with initial coin offerings. But when you look at the market right now, its nearly impossible that a initial coin offerings reaches their hard cap. The most of them just reach their softcap very barely. So the time of free money with ico is definitely over. When you want to collect money in a ico, you have to have a very good project which has future, otherwise nobody will every invest in your project.
