Official statement from the team of the StopTheFakes.io
We know that the crypto world doesn't like the postponing of previously scheduled dates for access to the ICO projects. However, we are forced to resort to this and announce the postponement of dates for crowdfunding at a later time.
Pre-ico 21.01.18 - 21.02.18 ICO 21.03.18 - 21.04.18
There are several reasons. The main reason is the desire and needs to present a prototype of the project and prototype of App for Android before the release of pre-ICO. We need more time to prepare the product!
We consciously go to this step, because of the spoiled reputation of the ICO sphere, we do not want to be associated with the scam projects.
Moreover, we want your support and investments in our project to become a reliable investment, not only before entering the exchange, as it is now but also in the long term.
The development of ANN and Bounty will be continued. Participants who are participating in our Bounty campaigns can stop supporting the project (we will save your stakes), or continue, and as a result, receive higher payments.
Thank you for your understanding.
Together we will make a product that will make this world a little better!
I apologize, did I understand you correctly? I continue to participate in the company's bounty and collect links, but I can not yet place them in the bounty top. But with the continuation of the company's bounty, will I receive an additional bonus for this time? Hi. You can post your reports here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2414250 you'll get all stakes if you follow the campaign conditions. Thanks

Isn't there an extremely high risk involved of posting false positives to the blockchain because of the monetary incentives? And what if someone is just mistaken and records an infringement which wasn't one? How will dispute resolution work?
Hi. Thank you for your question. Mode of operationSTAGE 1- The Requestor creates a Request by specifying his search query which may include a logo, a brand, signature style elements, etc. The Doer’s task is to find this information.
- The Requestor adds as much information as possible (what kind of infringements are of interest to him, countries, cities, etc.)
- The submitted Request goes to Reviewing (if necessary, the moderator asks and/or recommends to provide clarifications or to fill out other fields). The moderator’s work is done in the background and remains invisible to other users.
- When ready, the Request goes immediately to the Requests catalogue and is made viewable for Doers.
- The Requestor can indicate the desired number of Alerts by transferring the appropriate amount to the account.
... you can find more information in WP (pages 19-25) here: https://stopthefakes.io/docs/WP_En.pdfSTAGE 3- The received Alert is redirected to the preliminary reviewing to check if it contains any prohibited material, such as pornography or graphic violence.
- When the reviewing stage is over, the Doer’s Alert goes to ‘Request with alerts’. Alerts containing all the details are added to the Request on this page.
- The Requestor receives an email inviting him or her to consider the new Alert.
- The Requestor decides on the Alert within a specific time limit.
- Based on the Requestor’s decision the signal is then assigned one of the three statuses:
1. The Alert is accepted. In this case, the Doer gets remuneration. 2. The Alert is being checked. 3. The Alert has been canceled. In this case, the Doer is not remunerated, and the Requestor must state the reason for declining the Alert by selecting one of the options from the menu and specifying in a text file why the Alert has not been accepted. Rating systemIn our opinion, our main challenge is to deal with low-quality or irrelevant data provided by Doers. Therefore, we are introducing a rating system to minimize Reviewing expenses and to improve the quality of Alerts. Data processing is a costly and arduous process, so we intend to maximize Doers' involvement. Ratings will not only influence the level of earnings, but they also gamify the whole process. Introducing a game element incites competitive spirit and motivates Doers to work more productively. General principles- The Service keeps track of the Doer’ rating and updates it in the online mode
- The rating system applies to Doers only
- Doers receive or lose points for specific actions
- The more points a user has, the higher his position and earnings
- Both Doers and Requestors can view the rating of any Doer, the number of points he earned and the latest modifications.
... Does the moderator play any role in evaluating whether an alert or request might be justified or not? Or does the moderator only act according to the rules, whereas the rules, what are they? Are they specified by the decentralized community over time or by you as a service provider? Moderators only check the sent alerts so that they do not contain spam or illegal content. The decision is made only by the requestors.

Interesting stuff. Does blockchain itself provide the team with the necessary tools to counter piracy, fakes etc offline? Knowing that the crypto Currencies are quite reliable on blockchain can offline fakes, counterfeits etc be stopped?

But I assume over time your system will evolve and you can more quickly and accurately decide whether something is spam or not. You are right. We are planning to automatize some of this processes. We know some solutions which will help.

The project is good. Well thought out. But there are already very serious legal sanctions on copyright infringement and imitation. And most of the people who deal with trade are aware of these legal sanctions. There are many brands available. Must be a certain order.

Yes, you are right. But we couldn’t imagine, however, how serious the problem is. Government watchdogs missed the emergence of a global industry and allowed it to turn into a monster devouring law-abiding businesses. Currently, governments keep discussing what can be done to deal with this problem while continuing to apply the old methods, such as tax surveillance, customs, and few cybersecurity units. Sales of counterfeit goods and pirated content exceeded $461 billion, or some 2.5% of the total amount of international trade and it's growing rapidly each year.

I have read the information about SoptTheFakes ICO, and I must say it looks like a really great deal for all the companies to take a part in it. And the price that a company has to pay for your services is quite cheap, considering how much return they can achieve using a service like this. But most of all, I like the idea that we as user can play a role of "detective" here and stop the counterfeit and infringement. Wish success with your roadmap!

Gamification of workBrowser and mobile games are another trends of the 21st century. Working with the service will have much in common with playing games, the only exception being the possibility to make real financial gains. Consumers adore competing with each other, reaching higher levels and collecting points. All in all, games bring joy and satisfaction. It makes people happy to be the first to have sent an alert in response to a request. Article: https://medium.com/@stopthefakes/stopthefakes-io-the-doers-perspective-c1fd9250090a

Hi apoloo, I see that you have changed the dates for Pre-ICO and ICO, so it is not in 21.11.2017 anymore, but in January 2018? Am I right? Cause I saw in your bounty thread that you did not correct yet some lines in the code, here are some places where you need to change the dates with the new ones:

Here it is: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2370547https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2414250The first thread has already 13 pages, while the second it has only 8 pages. Let me know!
