I still think that bitcoin is better than ethereum. and even bitcoin after 5 years there will be an increase from the current price. then investing in bitcoin is definitely more profitable

Nothings defeat the mother of all crypto currency even eth bitcoin is still the best profitable to invest and i am pretty sure with that bitcoin already prove his self that bitcoin will be the best because the price is start with low value and now see where we are now. And the eth is depending on bitcoin price too so if the bitcoin price will decrease then theres no chance for eth to increase its price.

I prefer bitcoin than ethereum. although etherium is more stable than bitcoin, but the price of bitcoin is higher than etherium. therefore, investing in bitcoin is more profitable rather than ethereum.

   I am here cause of the bitcoin, ethereum is not on my buying list and I still
did not get to that. In 5 years I expect more from bitcoin then from ethereum,
I am buying bitcoin, and I am investing in some alt-coins, ICO`s.
   Ethereum price now is $320, about ethereum I know just some things, mostly
seen is:

   That sounds good, and many applications will be made on ethereum platform.

2018. Can ethereum go to + $500 in 2018 year? That is some minimal rise, or some
of you believe that ethereum can make huge increase like it already did this year?

I think that both Bitcoin and ethereum can show tremendous amount of growth in five years as both of them are really popular projects available on the market.
Bitcoin being the first crypto is the most popular and is very stable in the long run. Ethereum on other hand is the master of all smart contracts. Both projects have alot of potential to grow for sure. You can expect the price of Bitcoin to be above 15000$ within 5 years and you can expect the price of ethereum to be above 1500$ for sure.

Bitcoin is unstoppable and it will continue to become unstoppable after 5 years, there is no chance for any altcoin to beat bitcoin even ethereum. Bitcoin will continue to improve and become bigger that will make its foundation even stronger than now. Bitcoin price is one of the proof that bitcoin is a very tough opponent for the altcoins and even the top altcoins will not be able to defeat bitcoin.

I don’t agree, the bitcoin technology and protocols are the older ones, it will rule the crypto world for sometime but after that it is not going to survive with these protocols. Those people hoping that bitcoin will bring a change into its technology are sorry to say but wrong at the moment. Stake holders associated with the bitcoin technology don’t want carry any change into its technology. They are trying the other split chains of bitcoin to become establish so that the miners and the rest of the people involved in the game can get benefit from it. The recent off of segwit2x is an example of it.
The alts may grow bigger than the bitcoin in future. Ethereum can play a leading role in the future due to its vast characteristics formation.

I would choose bitcoins over ethereum any time as bitcoins are great and it's the first crypto currency so it has good foundation in the market and also that it has good demand and support from people more then what ethereum has and 5 years ain't enough to cover that gap and overcome or atleast come near bitcoins.But i must say that ethereum does has potential to grow and might overtake bitcoins but not in atleast in this decade or so.

Asking such question here is in my opinion pointless. Because everyone here will only confirm a lot of very similar question asked before...
By the way diversification would be the best idea for you. Bitcoin is growing very fast lately, what can means that bitcoin has a bright future or we can expect huge dump soon.From the other hand the situatio with ETH is not even better, the price in more acceptable but the 300 millions ETH are blocked and probably waiting and reading charts could be very well solution.

bitcoin and ethereum both are the best coins in the history of coins but if we can compare both of them bitcoin is the most strongest and high rated coins in all coins and no one can lead the price of bitcoin while ehtereum is the number second high rated coin in the history of coins. these both coins have a bright future because more and more people are investing in these coins.

I don't think that ethereum will stay at the price it is right now and that bitcoin will go really high in value because bitcoin is really popular and more people join it.
But ethereum will stay the same because it is not so popular as bitcoin is.

Ethereum will most definitely not remain at its present price and would still be higher in value.
However, bitcoin will also not remain the same and it has higher chances of increasing in value more than Ethereum ever will.

Ethereum is even beginning to have some competitions although we will still stick to the fact that it has given birth to a lot of tokens which even Vitalik himself said, some will fail just like normal startups do. So, we should expect a higher level of increase in bitcoin obviously than ETH.

In 5 years or more, in my opinion, ethereum would still be under bitcoin in terms of value since we all know how steady and stable bitcoins economy is. Just by seeing how far the difference between their market value will simply identify which one will be profitable, and since we are talking about kong term inv3stment, that is another plus point for Bitcoin because altcoins are known fo short term investment. So still, I'd bet that Bitcoin will be more profitable than Etherium

There is a chance for a bitcoin for an ethereum coins to surpass bitcoins after 5 years but the probability is very low, Just by comparing the btc and eth you will really notice that it is not possible for eth to surpass bitcoins within just 5 years.
