I don't think that ethereum will stay at the price it is right now and that bitcoin will go really high in value because bitcoin is really popular and more people join it.
But ethereum will stay the same because it is not so popular as bitcoin is.

It is obvious today , bitcoin surely be on top beside ethereum. Although same of them could be increase in the next 5 years . But we are talking here the value,  bitcoin is at a high value today and more profitable in the next 5 years. Ethereum is also a good to be honest and has a high market value to the others. of course the answer is bitcoin because bitcoin price could be higher than today and if we invest right now, i think the price will be double in next year and we don't have to wait until 5 years. but for me, i think i want to invest bitcoin and ethereum because i think bitcoin and ethereum can give me big profit in future and if 5 years from now the price is increase higher, then i am sure that i can make a lot of profit. but we can not compare between bitcoin and ethereum because the ethereum price is too cheap depend bitcoin and its need more years to become expensive like bitcoin.

I would like to bet for Etherium but to think that the market value of Bitcoin is way higher and much larger than etherium at this moment and has also a higher rate of increase on its value, it clearly shows that 5 years from now, bitcoin will be still more profitable than ETH because it is having a much more expensive market value.

Of course unarguably it is Bitcoin. If we try to look back on Bitcoins price way back January 2017 it is like from $800-$7000+ just this mid November so how much more if we are talking about five years? Ethereum needs more upgrades, adoption and a bigger community to compete with Bitcoin. If I have to choose which coin I am going hold for five years I would obviously choose Bitcoin over Ethereum. Bitcoin is widely used as payment, Bitcoin caught the attention of online merchants all over the world and even in some physical stores and in some  countries central banks accepted Bitcoin. Therefore, a lot of people are into Bitcoin because it is the most popular new kind of money which is more expensive than gold.

there is a lot of difference in bitcoin and ethereum, bitcoin is now the most popular cryptocurrency and about ethereum it not much better because on the base of price, i means that the price of bitcoin is about $7200 while the ethereum is not like that thats why bitcoin is the most popular them all.

No doubt in that bitcoin will be the most profitable investment because for last some months the growth of ethereum  is not big but the bitcoin growth is very high so its shows that demand for the bitcoin is more in future also it wil get more and more so invest on bitcoin and enjoy your future with high returns.

But when  see the growth rate of ethereum over the lat year the growth is high about 3000% but last couple of months it is low.I hope in future the growth of bitcoin will be more than altcoin so i think investing on bitcoin is better.

I also believe that Bitcoin will remain the best and Etherum will be second best in Cryptocurrencies. I think Bitcoin is a digital currency that has a high popularity and also a huge level of trust today. while Etherum is the best current Altcoin that continues to grow to become a digital currency that has an ever increasing rate of usage. If you notice the Bitcoin and Etherum Price is very far and it indicates that Bitcoinn has a different class with Etherum. I prefer bitcoin than ethereum. although etherium is more stable than bitcoin, but the price of bitcoin is higher than etherium. therefore, investing in bitcoin is more profitable rather than ethereum.
