Swipp can setup cold masternode? how to setup a cold node? This means the masternode itself doesn't hold any coins, they are all in my local wallet.
Masternode payouts will improve. Cold masternode should be possible I think... Please test and let us know . masternode.conf handling is in the source code. If it doesnt work, report it on GitHub and I'm sure Twiddler will look into it. Yours, team swipp i try to setup cold masternode, but it seems not work.

Today, I send my SWIPP coin to the wrong Wallet (SWEEP wallet in stead of SWIPP wallet in coinmarkets). So how can i get back my SWIPP coin? Please help me Hi. Usually, this is not possible... But in the case with SWEEPStakeCoin I'm guessing addresses start the same and are formed the same ? Basically, it means you sent your Swipp to some non-existing address not bound to any wallet. It can never be recovered. Yours, team swipp

I like the function at Bitshares DEX where it tells you whether an address (nickname) exists or not before you send your BTS. Could something like that be implemented in any crypto or would that also open the door for new privacy risks?

Any block explorer already enables you to check if an address exists or not. This might actually be a nice feature to add to the wallet. We could add a notification if the user enters an address that is not yet in the block chain. While we are at it, another useful notification would be to inform whenever a new version of the wallet is available. All this would require us to query swippcoin.com for information, which kind of goes against the decentralized nature of Swipp. However, if we add a setting to disable swippcoin.com services in the preferences, it might still be ok. Yours, team swipp

Yours, team swipp Absolutely and I think it would make the user experience much much better for now, at least for newcomers. And even pros in the space do make mistakes. It could also tell you whether you used this address for the first time or not. Often times, that might be the case but sometimes you are probably sending to an address you used before. So if a hacker successfully replaces an address, at least you'd get a warning that this is a first time sent to address. I think there are a lot of things you could add to make the user experience with all crypto wallets much safer.

Yours, team swipp Is it possible to make a wallet that isn't QT based? Just an interest question.
