People will be attracted to a specific coin depending on how in depth knowledge they have on a certain coin or capital before investing. There are also people who are just joining the hype of the current pumping coin in the market, so it only means that there are different reasons why people are investing on cryptocurrency.

it is because bitcoin is the most known, most used and one of the long running crypto in the digital world compared to other altcoins and shitcoins out their who still have to prove their authenticity.

Of all the digital currency only bitcoin that concerns everyone. Because most of the media, more interested in discussing the news of the bitcoin than other altcoin. automatically many people are so accustomed to the presence of bitcoin and more engaging their attention.

The first word I heard to the path of wealth is "bitcoin" then I searched it and as far as I know Bitcoin is the oldest and mother of all crypto currencies around the world, altcoins are just the follow ups but bitcoin is still the main crypto currency and if you will notice that if bitcoin's price goes up or down so does all other crypto currencies. Take note that in altcoins they are easily lost within their specific time frame because the process in that is a specific altcoin is going to be pumped after that everyone with that coin will dump so does its value.

because other "cryto currency" also known as altcoins are not known to anyone outside of the bitcoin circles. whenever the media is talking about crypto currency they are talking about bitcoin!

additionally the altcoins are mostly pretty terrible. they are made to be pumped and dumped so they are not really something people are interested in.
bitcoin on the other hand is a real currency which you can actually use to buy stuff with either online of offline and that will always give it an edge. not to mention all the attention that is going to bring for bitcoin.

in additional to this,being the most popular ang high valued,bitcoin is the most secured coins to invest because of its domination no other alts can take its place so our investment are secured..but i knew some alts that is good to trust,like ethereum and monero this two coins are stablished and wont let you fail but only for long term..its wasn't advisable for daytrade because the price is not moving high  fast

This may be because of the social media influence. Cryptocurrency has many altcoins in its circle. But the prices go up and down at a slower rate than of the bitcoins. These days bitcoins had raised up faster so bitcoins were or are too much trend.

I think that the latest upward trend of bitcoin is more to do with greed than anything else people have seen the rise in value and hope that they can see the same increase in years to come. Bitcoin is what they hear first and if they are going to invest in any other crypto currencies they normally need to have btc to buy alts from exchanges.
Unfortunately currency wise people are not really spending crypto currencies or when they are it is more so selling on exchanges for fiat.
