Waves features:
---Fast transactions
---- no touring complete smart contracts (safer than a touring complete smart contract)
----- DEX ( not a goode interface tought)
---- tokens creation
----- Ico creation
WIill waves have the same boom that ethereum had last year (2016) or not?
Will it kill Ethereum?

this is unlikely in five to ten years the difference between these two coins is really huge but we do not know what will happen. the waves have a really great potential, but I don't know that the waves can kill ethereum.

This yet to be seen. So far, waves has very small user base and even on dex, it have very small volume. Very few projects are using its smart contracts compared to smart contract of ETH. ETH has a very serious problems on bugs though just like what happened recently in parity. It can replace ETH if ETH self destruct due to too many bugs and hard forks.

WAVES WILL HAVE SMART CONTACTS ON 2018 - right now they test NG WAVES- did you read even something about waves? https://waves-ng.wavesplatform.comhttps://twitter.com/wavesplatform?lang=enwhen you writing something, first read something about coin.

This is the 2nd time ETH got hacked and millions of dollars coins at risk now. I think investors will look into an alternative solution after that. So, yes WAVES might get a chance and quick boom in price.

I don't think so . Most ICO projects now use the ETH platform's smart contract because it is easier to use and is supported by many large investors. In the future ETH contract will soon be supported more new features

i don't think anything can kill ethereum that easily because of the big manipulators behind it with lots of money to throw at it. you can see that recently ETH was hacked again and millions of dollars worth was lost. and while people were panic dumping the coin the manipulators were placing huge buy walls to prevent the crash. and they successfully minimized the damage so far but it is there.
there are a lot of other similar projects including Waves that does things so much better than ethereum. they will become big soon and it may be hard but ETH will eventually die because of all the issues it has. you can't keep a broken thing alive forever.

I think it is impossible to kill eth. Eth is a pretty big platform and lots of coin builds on it but waves and anchors have quite a few coin builds on these two platforms. The popularity of eth is quite wide as there are also trading floors for altcoin exchanges with eth. It is difficult to kill eth in the near future

Ethereum is backed by Putin. This is why its price has been resilient for the past month despite increasing competition & high selling pressure: every single time the price falls to a critical level, a single gigantic buy order appears. Yesterday, there was an order to buy 8000 ETH on Bitfinex, and it stopped the fall. Today, spoofing & wash trade has never stopped but slowed down.
This type of effort uses lots of money but cannot really pump up the price and keep it there for the long term.
People who are keen on the technology in ethereum need to know exactly how the technology functions, esp. whether there is any backdoor. We're talking about Russian hackers & the KGB here.

Waves can't make much push as ssen recently on Ether. A close competitor of Ether is Tezos, they will probably enther into exchanges on February 2018

Seems like an organised effort on this forum to pump Waves.
Waves to beat Ethereum? Don't make me laugh.

i dont understand people like you, you talking about ETH that is some kind of cosmo do you know that waves become fastest blockchain in the world? for example, do you read news, check road map? NG waves , multisig, smart contracts... team working hard and we can see lot of effort from them on twitter, telegram and etc. damn, you guys, you just sleeping and do not see future at all... sleeping with ETH that is the best and every other coin is bad... for real, read something about waves and you will surprise how big waves will become in the future and what they have right now.

That Tezos couple is an interesting one, more to read about at https://techcrunch.com/2017/07/12/behind-the-scenes-with-tezos-a-new-blockchain-upstart/They explain in the end how that name come up. Algorithmic decision based upon available namespace and dictionary! When we were coming up with the name Arthur wanted an original .com so he wrote an algorithm to find an unclaimed .com that was pronounceable in English. Apparently it’s slang in Colombian teenager speak on Twitter for “expert.” So that’s a massive freebie.
