Waves need huge marketing company in order to stand in one line with ETH. Ethereum nowadays far more often used and known then waves and I don't see this will change next 2 years. Maybe in 5 years will be new ultra modern blockchain which will overcome this both.

I can tell you that now there are about a thousand coins on the market, which have both common features and differences. But if you compare like you, it's better because of one factor, so half of the coins should eat the other half. They develop and compete and will continue to live if they have support.

There is no doubt waves have a really great potential but killing Eth is not possible, Waves need time to get mature first then can compete Eth, however till then Eth will be competing for BTC  Grin.

I do not think this is possible, but it is a positive and desirable competition. Wave in general is improving day by day and has a remarkable growth. But to cross the ETH would be another story altogether. sharding is the dominant and distinct characteristic.

In the next couple of years, this is impossible. But Waves  have potential and this year they can grow at least 3-5 times.

Honestly, I will disagree about the potential of waves platform. Thare so many this tokens on the waves platform. Remember a lot of them created by scammers. Look at how some waves platform become fail and the developer doesn't even need to run any development progress, Waves is very bad platform.

Seems like an organised effort on this forum to pump Waves.

Waves to beat Ethereum? Don't make me laugh.

I have  waves but I don't want  them to pump this way, waves is not a pump and dump coin, we are just waiting for the smart contract and their new trading platform to come out then we'll see if waves price will increase or get pump.

I would argue that waves will not kill the ethereum, even in the next few years.
But we do not know in the future that waves can need ethereum.
We can only see its progress

This is really so and I think that all the talk about waves in this perspective, relatively the etherium, is provocative. The efirium has a great future and no one or nothing will affect it.

I was expecting waves to be in a much better situation by now but it’s okay I guess since all coins are down a lot. Waves has potential to be over hundred but it will take some to reach these numbers. Also Ethereum will always be a head of waves.

Waves  features:

---Fast  transactions

---- no touring complete  smart contracts (safer than a  touring  complete  smart contract)

----- DEX  ( not  a  goode  interface tought)

----  tokens creation

-----   Ico  creation

WIill   waves   have  the  same  boom  that  ethereum had   last  year (2016) or not?

Will it kill Ethereum?

Life ("trade") on one bitcoin and eth does not end, I think that investors invest in a lot of other coins Huh Huh Huh

Nope i dont think so could any altcoin was able to kill btc ? Nope eth is also first of its kind but if i talk about potential of waves ,it might surpass eth after this year as there are many new things coming road map and recent vulnerability in ethereum smart code has caused an uproar.waves have its plus point and let see how waves smart contract is like .

No I don't think wave can kill ethereum , as you can see eth has more potential than waves and if we summary the project that has been successful still ethereum though.

it does not destroy it in this way, but it is likely that you can eat heavy bumps. Foreign policies that are important are positively affecting the market

I do not think waves will kill etheeium , we know that waves has its own decentralized exchanged but that is not enough reason to kill etherium. Because etherium is the most use altcoin in most of the ICO that are being launched this days. Etherium will be just like bitcoin in three to five years for now. With its high gaining profits and long term investments.

Im waves holder ,i bought them when it did cost about 1$, so im not going to sell until the price hits 100$. Depend on general situation with cryptocurrency it should happen next year or two. But  i'm in no rush to break up with my waves - i gave them lease.

Waves won't be able to kill ehtereum because the place of ethereum is unique in the world. Waves is not a top one but it can be $150 in the future easily. I trust waves project as well. It's a good one.

The interest level of crypto community in Waves still too low, this much different with investors Ethereum as well as those associated. Waves hard to match ETH let alone kill.

Waves and ETH are developing side by side and there is noway they gonna kill each others because they're not related to each other at all.

Waves is a solid project working with a strong team, it has its decentralized exchange and is getting more attention nowadays because of its robustness secure transactions and it takes note on occurrence of bugs.
Ethereum already emerged out launching many ico's and became popular and so I think waves won't be a contender to ethereum.
