For me, Waves is one of the potential altcoins, actually I believe in the future Waves will grow strongly and have a high price. But Ethereum is a giant in this market, its capital is huge, just after Bitcoin. Ethereum is very popular, it is used by many ICOs. Every day Ethereum has a large trading volume. I believe in the future Ethereum will reach over $ 2500. Actually right now, it's hard to have a strong enough altcoin to beat Ethereum, Waves will need a lot of time and effort to beat Ethereum.

Waves  features:

---Fast  transactions
---- no touring complete  smart contracts (safer than a  touring  complete  smart contract)
----- DEX  ( not  a  goode  interface tought)
----  tokens creation
-----   Ico  creation

WIill   waves   have  the  same  boom  that  ethereum had   last  year (2016) or not?

Will it kill Ethereum?

This prediction of yours will just fall off your foot man. Waves will beat Ethereum? Dream on! Such an impossible thing to happened. I've red a news yesterday that Waves project will soon stop, bankrupt ofcoarse. We'll never know until when will we ever see Waves on the list. This will be a false hope for Waves to beat Ethereum as the second powerful coin.

This will never happen for two simple reasons. First Ethereum there is no real competition except for NEO. In the second wave do not have such technology as Ethereum.

Ethereum is not something to get killed by another blockchain project. Waves is a solid project with trusted team members, yet waves can't kill ethereum, it can take some market share from ethereum. This is more realistic.

I don't think WAVES will be able to surpass ETH. I think due to the ERC20 technology and the large support for ICOs, ETH will reign fir a while. By the way, no one talks about WAVES anymore as much as it was at first

No chance. Waves are not a competitor even. They can't stand on the same levels. Why? I don't have solid arguments but from all my experience and fundamental knowledge.

I like WAVES actually, but even EOS can't be competitor for Ethereum technology/ developers community. Ethereum will blow your minds more soon

guys and I like your enthusiasm and I also fully support your opinion. No wonder I'm trying every time to invest in the etherium, when I have extra money.

Waves is one among the best blockchain platform, but when it comes to ethereum the support it has gained over the years is very big. Next thing is the usage, very few number of projects get developed upon the waves platform while majority of the projects get developed upon the ethereum smart contract platform adding more potential to the ethereum. In short, waves will compete with ethereum and make itself more stronger.

even coin like ICX , Wanchain are better than waves , they have some good news and hype too .
wave is now only acting like old reputed coin which is now forgotten by most of its early fans . until they bring something more attracting than other project people will not turn to it .

I have investment in both, but still I wonder if waves can beat ethereum, since both have innovations and both are good investments, I don't see any negstive side that both should be competing, but when it comes to acceptance ethereum is being accepted more than waves, though ethereum doesn't have any air drop like waves, a lot of coins are already ethereum based, and developers are more likely to use ethereum based algorithm compared to waves, personally I would choose ethereum over waves, but we could never tell, since both are great investments.

waves have good potential but waves i think can not afford to compete with ethereum because now this ethereum still be one of the coins that support ico and more potentially than waves almost all ico now use ethereum although waves also support ico but not much. so silly thing if waves can kill ethereum.

maybe EOS maybe ardor but not waves.
BTW i am sick of the unknown scam coins on the waves platform. Waves should consider a regulation for those, people are getting scammed all the time

I agree with your statement. I believe that Waves can not overcome ETH because it does not have many practical applications and its growth is unstable. ETH is growing strongly in the market and I am confident that 2018 will be the year ETH has achieved many achievements.

No one will be able to kill Ethereum in the near future. Maximum, someone can compete with him. Or in the event that the blockchain will transferred to a qualitatively new level. But no one prevents to Ethereum from developing.

I think that Ethereum is just the power tezos . It's the only opponent in his class.

The development of waves and ethereum has gone a long way. where the ethereum is now very large in terms of development as well as community. making people more believers against ethereum than others or waves

I don't think that Waves can kill Ethereum. These two platforms can coexist together, more precisely each in itself. Even the fact that the Ethereum sometimes doesn't cope with the load, and the network brakes, it doesn't mean that everyone will run into Waves and forget about Ether. There is no reason for panic, both coins are good. And don't forget that Ethereum is coin number 2 after bitcoin.
