fixed the red part. not really sure what you mean by the bolded part, that calculation is for wait time between posts.
(int) means whatever the result of the calculation will be rounded to the nearest integer (42.123 will be rounded down to 42).

if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4);

So what I as effectively saying in Bold in anticipation of not being a newbie soon
was that in 10 days time this part of the code will apply to me regarding how often I can post:

waittime = (int)(90 - activity);
if(activity >= 60)

i.e when I have activity 16 Then I can post every 90 - 16 = 74 seconds.

If you aren't sure how to figure out how much potential activity you have, you can just plug your UID into a site like this one, and it'll calculate your potential activity for you.

Just stay active and make atleast 1 post each day and you'll earn 14activity points for every 2 weeks.

I don't think there has been any change in the way activity has been counted for years now.

Correct me if I'm wrong. The shortest time in becoming a member in your status is 2 months being active regardless how many post and activity you make or if you reach 60 activity and 60 post then your status will become member .

Let's make things simple : you have to make 60 posts in order to become a member and you have to be active (active = make at least 1 post in every period / 14 days; ofc if your unique post is deleted you will loose your 14 activity so better to make several posts per period)
So a brand new have to wait at least 4 periods of 14 days + the first day of the 5th period in order to become a member ~ 2 months (57 days at least if I am not wrong)
