Using Binance at the moment. Is that one of the best, or there are better ones?  I live in Sydney Australia by the way.

And which exchange has the lowest fees?

And do I need to provide photo ID etc to join them and to start buying coins?

Thanks:)
For me, the best exchange for trading to dollar is bitfinex. Great opportunities: margin trading, margin security, graphic instruments, a large number of orders and large volumes of transactions, possibility of withdrawing up to 2000 dollars without verification, and so on.
For trading to bitcoin, I love bittrex: for a large number of altcoins and stable work.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I would recommend Bittrex. In my opinion this is one of the best exchanges, as I would advise Bitfinex. This is also a good exchange with which I have not had any problems yet.

Bittrex has great UX. Binance is getting better and better. Ether delta for small cap altcoins. I will never touch Bitfinex, because of the Tether link rumours.

I've never used Bitfinex like you. For bittrex, I can say that their platform and user interaface is great. But I'm cold to it after the suspension of several Bittrex accounts without any reason. That made me scared honestly.

Etherdelta is a platform for small cap altcoins (ERC20 tokens). After ETH update, their platform works much faster compared to old days.

Binance is another promising exchange in Assia. They need to change their user interface, it's so primitive.

bittrex is good. but sometimes trading in poloniex, cryptopia or coinexchange I think it's good. if you want a new altcoin trading you can usually find in coinexchange with small fees.

Yobit and bitrex are the best exchange I've been use for a while now.
Yobit has too much problems with their wallets and on bittrex you will have to give your personal information.
I would go with liqui or cryptopia. Poloniex is also good exchange.
Etherdelta is pretty good to
It is good but I don't like it because we have to pay transaction fees.

Bittrex is still the one and only top exchange platform for me. I never encountered serious problems with Bittrex for my several months of trading experience there. I can highly and proudly recommend it to you. The traded altcoins there are pretty good in volume. You will not be having serious trading problems also because the coin options are many. You can easily choose from their very long list.

Do not use poloniex. They will freeze your account unless you give them your birth certificate, your firstborn son, and your fingerprints /s

But for real do not use poloniex, it is really shady as they keep banning accounts.

yeah, some time ago I got information about poloniex, which is warning to not trading in poloniex, he said poloniex have problem about tax. but did not know it was true or not.

Etherdelta is pretty good to
Etherdelta is good for its decentralization, but the sluggishness and slowliness just enough to make me stay away with it, for performance, maybe we need centralized exchange to fulfill that.
But wait until Eidoo's hybrid exchange released, it will be as fast as centralized ones and as safe as decentralized exchanges.
However, centralized exchange like poloniex kinda risky tho, it's already showing a sign.

There are many exchange sites. polo, bittrex, exchange, hitbtc, yobit, livecoin, cryptopia and much more. But I like the best bittrex. It is easy to trade from here. NID can be used to make a lot of limits. Its use is straightforward.

i am stay at poloniex and bittrex and cryptopia for my main daily trading, i think this three sites is recommended even for new people which want to learn trading. if you are really new in trading, i suggest to you to verify your account with your real names because it is important to you and you don't have to get any problem in future. beside that, if you decide to trade in that sites, you need to thinking about how much money you want to use for trading and don't use too big money if you are afraid.
