Once again, when it comes to e-mail deliveries, that was the first case we were notified about unwanted messages.
If there are more such notifications we will stop with e-mail deliveries using that provider altogether.

@rime151 there'll be no more airdrop. BUT you might want to sign up for the deployment of the test-network which goes live on the 1st of March. Remember half of the total supply goes to miners.

When they can't do that, you have a strong case for collecting the CAN-SPAM damages from them.

If what you say is true, they are severely damaging your reputation - you should GET PISSED!

We wanted to target blockchain technology enthusiasts specifically,so if they've managed to deliver messages to all of your 3 accounts which you claim were not signed up for any kind of blockchain related mailing lists that would be highly surprising wouldn't you say?

Although the case seems unlikely, we've put the e-mail delivery service on halt till we do some internal research.

As for now you were the only one who pointed out the case, although we've dispatched 20-40k on daily basis.

These have not triggered any kind of spam alerts. Our server is integrated with all the security measures, each e-mail is signed and we do monitor the reports.

Thank you for letting us know. Normally we would have not stopped the campaign after just a single report but due to your Legendary status on the forums, it's the only reason why we've taken such drastic measures at once.

Personally I wouldn't believe somebody waited for a reply from you (which as you state is hard to get anyway) just to put it into a database I would rather say all these 3 e-mails were signed up for some kind of 'whatever'.

And just a hint for you: Not respoding to a polite inquery, while at the same time flaunting the fact is not an example of a good manners.

You might also want to reconsider your hasitness with calling the entire project scam, - just becouse you got an e-mail.

It is not professional and does not help your very reputation which undaubtably has solid grounds here.

We could have resolved the issue through a single private inquery.

AndrewBUD, most probably there will be a delay. Unfortunately. We've taken a design decision to stay away from the UTXO model entirely during the current month which resulted in some considerable changes to the code-base. We now put complete reliance on the concept of Merkle-Patricia tries and accounts to store the information.

If we manage to launch the public Test-Network by the 1st of March it will be available for the Windows platform only and without GUI (only the command line app for deploying Smart Contract and transactions).

We're doing another design change; we're shifting away from MySQL towards RocksDB. RocksDB is a database engine which has many improvements compared to LevelDB, which was admitted by Ethereum core devs. After doing more evaluations we will update the news.

The library is maintained by the Facebook Database Engineering Team, and is based on LevelDB, by Sanjay Ghemawat and Jeff Dean at Google.

Answer: GRIDNET is a system which is being developed entirely from scratch. The project is probably the most ambitious blockchain project ever conceived. During implementation and testing, we have decided to take some drastic measures and introduced majors changes to the overall direction of the project.

Particularly, we have decided to move away, entirely, -  from the UTXO model of transactions.

We have decided to go with an account based model all the way, instead. The aim is to farther underline the capabilities of GRIDNET platform as a global computational machine.

We have been experimenting with many database engines including MySQL, LevelDB, HyperLevelDB , among others. Our final choice is RocksDB.

These design decisions all have added up to our decision of postponing the deployment of a public Test-Network.

Introducing major changes to a large public network would be problematic and miss the point of public tests which are supposed to reflect most closely the final product and environment.

While still doing major development maneuvers there’s no point in public tests.

Question:  So, when will the Test-Network go LIVE?

The server is configured to redirect you to the encrypted website if you chose to use pure HTTP protocol.

Now. There might be a 'WWW' A record DNS record missing from the DNS server (we've switched the provider in recent days, we'll look into this ASAP)
