Hello @ all.
I'm new to aerium. I've a couple of questions an hopefully i'm right here. At first it would be nice to know where or how i can mine aerium and du i need a new gpu. i just have an old ati radeon 5870. The beste would be if i could mine with my raspberry. It is online 24/7. That brings me to my next question. Has anyone a link to a compiled linux wallet (Raspian). unfortunately i didn't manage to build it following the instructions delivered in the source code. i would be very happy if someone could iluminate me ;-)

The PoW phase is over, now you can only stake. You need to download the wallet, add some funds and unlock it for staking.

STAKE INFO HERE, don't miss out if you haven't looked into it yet Shocked Wink
As some others have said, the time is now for anyone looking to get into stakes and AERM for sure. I've used multiple different sites and also solo staked but this one has worked the best by far.
https://stakeunited.com
Not only do they have no deposit fees and a reliable support team if you ever needed it, but you can even withdraw your coins at any time with no worries. I have had 0 issues with them and been there since the launch, so that's got to show something. In addition to that, there are many tutorials right on their website for anyone who needs a little help getting their coins in. The tuts are extremely helpful, so anybody can, and should for sure look into it. Like I said, they have AERM, but also about another dozen other great coins you could get started (or continue staking) in today too, just incase you want some variety  Cheesy
Also as perviously said in this thread, one of the great advantages of a staking site is that you are guaranteed to get a higher return without having to buy an absurd amount of coins, so check it out while the price is low!
In the end, I highly recommend them, and cant wait to see everyone else enjoying too, have a great day everyone. Smiley

Since AERM is a PoS coin only now, staking is how you'll want to mine your coins. I would highly recommend a staking pool site if you want the best efficiency possible. I've mentioned the best one for AERM previously so I'll quote that for you here and the rest of the info can easily be found on the site, enjoy!

You are serious?

The Dev barely comes here once in a week, he doesn't answers question, almost all wallets released were bugged and we are still waiting for the website he promised to do 2 months ago...

What else?

Getting on cryptobridge is a step in the right direction.  Discord is somewhat active but as a community we should ramp this up!

No, PoW is over. You need to buy coins on an exchange, then you can stake them with a nice ROI.

Thank you @ OGM4ME and ra213 for this information. But if nobody is mining who computes the blocks?  I thought this is necessary for transactions. Ok joining a staking pool seems a good opportunity but if i prefere to have my coins in my wallet is there a way to do this with a linux wallet. Does anybody know how to build it in detailed steps or has even e ready to use linux wallet for Aerium coin? It seems i'm not fit enough to do that on my own.
Many thank for your help

I am not familiar with Linux wallets but as for the mining, PoS is a type of mining. With this, you can (without having to give up your computer functionality)  validate block transactions according to how many coins are in your wallet. So instead of using a GPU or something, you earn coins as interest for them being staked in your wallet. The pool comes into play when people can't put a large  amount of coins in to stake, since you earn faster the more you have. The pool let's plenty of users add their stakes together and therefor collect  interest faster than if they had been solo staking with a small amount of coins.

Core dev (and the last member of the official 4 members on the launch) saying

I am pretty active on discord, i had worked hard to get everything on the correct trails, we have released the first website more than one month ago (aerium.info) then, the community helped me to release another (and better/updated website, aerium.co)

Also, if you have any questions, please enter our discord and PM me, i will be glad to answer anyone https://discord.gg/CQRdN3x
