Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Hello! I have some AERM obtained from minig that can't be balanced on my desktop wallet, probably due to the error occurred on the blockchain.

In "Transaction" window it says "Generated but not accepted. Obtained from mining" and furthermore in tranction details it says "Generated coins must mature 510 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours."

So, what can I do to not lose these coins?

Thank you all

so no working mining pools? the ones in first post either dropped Aerium or not working any longer.

How can the blocks move faster if we dont even have working pools to accommodate people?

I updated my wallet to ver 1.8

Now my balance has vanished.

Checked the block explorer, its still listed there, but the wallet does not reflect this.

Has anyone else had this problem?

So since all Pools are down, how dead is AERM or can one mine Aerium?

i had to learn this too. Time for mining aerium is over. At this time you only can generate coins by staking if you are holding some coins in your wallet. In my case it's working. unfortunately only with windows wallet.

thx for the info. Will it be minable in future again though?

why bother mining? It's dirt cheap right now and staking has been fixed. Just buy some and stake it

^^ where is the best place to buy them? stock.exchange?

And could someone explain to me what "staking" means?

Staking is an alternative to mining supported by many coins. You keep your wallet open and there is a chance to make a block depending on your unspent balance. The more you have the higher the chance. Very roughly speaking.

Yes stocks.exchange is good and the price seems to have stabilized around 300sat for the last couple days.

What's the matter with the supply? Why are some people saying that the one which is showed on coinmarketcap doesn't reflect reality?

Staking Structure Update

The new staking structure was delegated among the Aerium community in consultation with the Aerium Team.
To prolong the longevity of the coin, increase value, and build a sustainable future. The following will be implemented as the staking structure. The Staking Structure will gradually be changed. From block 101,000 to 110,000 it will remain 1000% Apr. After block 110,000 it will start reducing gradually to the new staking structure within  a months time span. This structure will be as follows. 10% APR for normal blocks. Blocks that end in 25, 50 and 75 = 50% APR and blocks that end in 00 = 100 APR.

Yeah, I also got absolutely nothing for an entire week. Exactly the time when the highest superblock was being mined. My friend doubled his aerm count and somewhat, I didn't get even 1. Last wallet, it told me it was staking, whole package. Great !

You may calculate self , take coin supply in explorer (129254715.97117814) and multiply by the average cost ($0,017521) = 2264671 $ approximately

good mornig @ all

i tried tu build the new wallet on raspian following the instruction of rolfmetzger but this fails too. I think it's a general problem. Why i want my wallet on raspberry pi may you ask. The reason is that the pi works as openhab server and is 24/7 online. If anyone has an idea or an working solution for the pi that would be great.

Many Thanks

does anyone know on which the number of active connections depends on? I allways have one rarely two but never more. It also would be nice to know the rule or algorythm the staking is calculatet. The time till the next payout is not very usefull becuase it nerver changes.
