I think Etherum will be the future of digital currencies, and Bitcoin will lose. because Etherum is an ico token platform, and in the future the token will also grow better and automatically, etherum will also increase in value.

Bitcoin is a masterpiece of cryptocurency itself, so no matter how strong ethereum won't be able to replace the position of bitcoin right now, it takes a long time to be able to replace the role of bitcoin, but in reality Bitcoin and Ethereum run as a whole in the cryptocurency

Bitcoin is the only main coin that has better support and better community at its best but that doesn't mean Ethereum is bad infact ETH is better for smart contract so my guess is they will both survive in the future with other few altcoins ,usefulness is what makes something valuable, there are many coins that have useful in one particular area

I used to assume before now that bitcoin is the all and all of crypto, maybe because discovered bitcoin before other cryptos like ethereum. But over time, that assumption is at the verge of being reversed. This is because i now discovered that apart from being a means of exchange, ethereum also has the power of smart contract. Eth is well on its way to greatness and in a few years will be huge but I still feel no matter how it grows it won't surpass BTC. BTC has always been the father and it will stay that way. Speaking from my own view

So many people who are yet to understand what crypto is or have not been involved in cryptocurrency, do not know about oher coins that exist,, including ethereum. although bitcoin was old cryptocurrency but their developers trying to make its scalability better than before.they developt lightning network that only take fee in small amount.with its suppy and lightning network and also halving i am sure bitcoin will not replaced by any coins.

Honestly, bitcoin hasn't created to be forked time to the time. Scalability is an important thing but we must remember real satoshi's vision about bitcoin. Bitcoin will never be replaced by anycoin but everycoin will remain on its place. there will be only a competition to gain marketcap.

I think they are both the future of crypto currencies as their are currently the main project drawing the most attention, funding and development

of course there’s a lot of competition but the position gathered by both is remarkable and the upcoming fearures such as lighting network and POS should help spread even more

yes, I agree with this. however, I feel that bitcoin always controls the development of other coins, and of course ETH will always keep up with that development. I always think that bitcoin is a coin that has never been replaced by other crypto even ETH.

Well the future of cryptocurrencies is actually not to create a single cryptocurrencies but to have several currencies which users can rely on and make transactions. But i believe Ethereum has a great future especially with the upcoming update that was announced by Vitalik Buterin about the introduction of Plasma and Sharding Technologies which would be launched possibly first quarter of 2020
