Bitcoin or Ethereum: Which is the Future Cryptocurrency

I used to assume before now that bitcoin is the all and all of crypto, maybe because discovered bitcoin before other cryptos like ethereum. But over time, that assumption is at the verge of being reversed. This is because i now discovered that apart from being a means of exchange, ethereum also has the power of smart contract. Which do you think is better and has great future?

Bitcoin and Ethereum are both good cryptocurrencies. But we cannot narrow it down to these two. There are many incoming cryptocurrencies which also have high values. We can include Litecoin which has a versatile way of getting it. We can also say that these two have both advantages and disadvantages. Ethereum is good in a way that we can get or buy tokens with it while Bitcoin is used to buy things and we can use bitcoin to transact with others owning a bitcoin wallet.

As you said some of the new altcoins also having good potential like bitcoin cash it made a huge price bump recently but I think bitcoin will be the future of all crypto currency because it is the king if it was defeated no one can survive.
Ethereum also have good potential I think in 2018 it will give huge price bump like bitcoin did in 2017.So these two coins are the most important crypto currency ever.

Currently I believe all of us would agree that Bitcoin holds the position of being in the top choice in terms of investment wise for its strong credibility with maintained market value after many years. Etherium will not be left behind for it holds may good ICOs. I do believe that the investors capability is the main deciding factor. Both two are good investments but the primary difference is that Bitcoin requires higher fund for you to invest on it as compared to a lower fund required by Etherium. If you have a deep pocket then probably you will dive in for Bitcoin and for those with lower capability, they might consider choosing Etherium instead to have more investments.

Bitcoin. But since its a lot expensive than ETC. Its good to invest with ETC too since its still not as expensive as BTC. Both are long term, its just BTC has been stable and on its all-time high.

I also think that it is better than these two probably do not have anything and I think that in the future they will show themselves well considering their current progress

I think ethereum has good future in the world of cryptocurrency but obviously bitcoin is the future. We all can see that the value of bitcoin is getting higher and higher everyday or everymonth. They both have potential to be used in the future, but if there was one cryptocurrency then it should be one that everyone could afford. At this point Bitcoin cannot be afforded by everyone. Bitcoin price is $11.5k and Ethereum is $450, thats a big contrast.

I think is ethereum, you can see some ethereum platform that can make some good ICO. I think the future of ethereum will be better than BTC, but maybe the price is not comparable because bitcoin comes first than ethereum, as ethereum comes along with bitcoin, I believe the ethhereum that dominates the market

Both of them have good future indeed. But if you are looking for investment long term, the best choice is bitcoin. Ethereum has different purposes, its smart contract, but bitcoin is designed for micro payments but I don't see it happening in the future. It has now started to be a store of wealth. But there's nothing about it. As long as we are benefiting from it, there's no harm.

Yes, its better to have Ethereum as well, at least diversify. We don't know what the future holds, so you have options. I'm saying that we need to hold both of them long term like 1 year minimum to see and get a nice profit. If you hold less than that then you will not get the full potential of both coins.

I think Bitcoin has already created its future right now with this coin catching all the pressures in mainstream with medias, banks, governments and countries going crazy. It has already created dominance which we never know when will last or what may happen. But if you are talking about what is the future from now, It should be ethereum. It "could" be the next bitcoin if so. It has more applications than bitcoin, more faster and reliable thats why many companies invest into this. It will create its own revolution. We just have to wait and SEE.

Ethereum gas charge is very less than bitcoin but when the time bitcoin is the same value bitcoin transaction more lower than you see as ethereum gas charge now are seeing. Bitcoin is a decentralized and first come crypto bro.
Whatever coins comes to the market always this bitcoin will top in the market. None of the people will goes behind ethereum once they shows their original face soon. It is a centralized money and people will control on it.
