I am very saddened to announce that our beloved Dr. Kimoto Chan was assassinated on the 14th of July, 2013. This great man struggled to bring the people out of the tyranny of man unto the promised land through Megacoin. His fight was the direct cause of his death and his banner men have vowed that his work will be continued to honor his life and efforts.
God bless you Kimoto and thank you for all you did!
Lets get to work boys.

Almost 500 blocks left before the block reward halves for a second time down to only 125/block.
Actually just over 6000 to go I think until next reduction. Next block reward reduction at block 42,000 Currently on block 35827 Whooops, I thinking it was block 41,000 that it changed. So 6173 * 150 / 60 / 60 / 24 = 10.717013888888888888888888888889 Days left Not long now... Stock up on MEC now before rewards half.

I am very saddened to announce that our beloved Dr. Kimoto Chan was assassinated on the 14th of July, 2013.
Kimoto went missing recently when his final flight in a light plane over the Nevada desert went missing. Some speculate he was assassinated. However, Lieutenant Colonel Cynthia Barnes of the US Civil Air Patrol has said Kimoto, whose body or plane was never found, could still be alive. Lt Col Barnes believes Kimoto may have faked his own death to prepare for the immense success of Megacoin following the update. There are also a number of anomalies that question whether Kimoto's plane ever crashed. Only one witness, a pilot at hotel magnate Barron Hilton's flying ranch near Reno, claims to have seen him take off that day. That witness claims Kimoto asked him to prepare the plane for take off, even though he had never allowed anyone else to do this before. Kimoto also apparently claimed he was going to scout for locations for a land speed record attempt, but he supposedly took off with no emergency equipment. The choice of plane was also a baffling one - a Bellanca Citabria Super Decathlon, which, according to risk assessor Robert Davis said was constructed from a steel and wood frame, but actually covered in fabric, making it easy to dismantle...

Kimoto lives in the Maldives which are now under water due to global warming. Maybe we need the global warming coin, or better yet CarbonCreditCoin -- CCC.

CCC is genius. Make that. No, wait. All that hash is anti carbon credit. Unless is is 98% POS. Which doesnt fit the schema for the coins exsistance. Nevermind, do not make it.

Good morning everyone! This is the spirit of Kimoto. ‹’’›(Ͼ˳Ͽ)‹’’› Haha but seriously, no need to ring the ghostbusters. Just a simple smile and everything will always turn out fine. Services like ifidie.org are very nice though. I was investing time turning mild adversaries into mega allies and working on several next gen releases. For the client update - it has the stamp of approval for release today. Hope you all have a very nice day! -Dr Kimoto Chan

I sponsored a promotion of Megacoin on a Chinese Bitcoin website. Megacoin is now featured on their front page as well as this dedicated page: http://www.btc38.com/altcoin/general/133.htmlQuite a few Chinese readers of the blog have already downloaded a wallet and received their free Megacoins. If anyone else has any ideas on how to promote Megacoin why not share them here? I was thinking about offering a bounty for people to do a write up / informational / promo of Megacoin on their blogs...
