Do the issues on block finding have anything to do with the 0coin protocol? If yes this is a feature and miners should not be discouraged - they will be rewarded in the end by the price increasing fast!

Our pool is only doing 11 Mh/s, and we found about 31 blocks in the last 24 hours. We just had most of them confirmed in a very short amount of time due to the "Locust" effect of the multi-poolers. (they don't  understand the best time to mine is when they are away!) Big payouts come from going the distance, not from hit and run. Lips sealed Oops, did I just spill the beans? Anyway, thanks for confirming all our blocks again. Grin
I don't see any issues with finding blocks. Just growing difficulty and rarity.

P.S. Thanks for bringing up Zerocoin. I'm on pins and needles waiting to hear Kimoto's quip about yet another enigmatic piece of Megacoin excellence.

1% pool fee - donations optional.

Which reminds me, I just set my donation to 1%. Not that my hashing power will bring in many coins, but still, I very much doubt that a 1% fee alone is enough to cover all the costs and effort. Neither will 2% with the current amount of hashers, but maybe that'll get better once a few extra big time hashers come along. They can't all go to the same pool without screwing things up (again?!)

We are doing pretty good today!
I just let the mining thing run today. Made me around 250 coins so far, and there's more in the unconfirmed bit. Unfortunately I can't run the thing day and night. But heck, it's been going pretty good indeed

That's a very generous offer! I would jump in, but your stratum doesn't connect.

My bad, I was using the wrong one. Your site looks sharp, but it's a little unusual to navigate.

Yes, I am already thinking of ways to improve the site navigation / structure.

Check out the 48 Hours graph from www.miningpool.co

Showing difficulty and network hashrate.

The difficulty algorithm definitely needs tweaking.

Multipool starts mining as soon as the difficulty drops - difficulty then rockets again and multipool leaves after only an hours or so leaving the difficulty very high for many hours until it drops again suddenly and then the whole cycle repeats itself. Seems algo responds well to increases in hash rate up but not so well when the hashrate drops. I believe the multipool is doing no one any favours by this including their own users - but they are not about to go away so it needs to be dealt with.

The graphs are sweet. Also like the general look and feel, it just takes a little getting used to.

i jumped in in your pool and give it a try. My first impressions:

Pro:
- nice clean interface.
- lots of information
- nice looking graphs

Cons:
- pool fee to high (2%), i advice a maximum of 1% or on donation basis
(- sorting of "Top Hashrates" doesent seem to work properly. at the time i write 792 > 3.694)

- Reduced the fee to 1%
- The hashrates are displayed with a comma - so 3.694 is actually 3,694

Hi All

umm... Spent almost three hours mining at +800Kh/s and still my account balance (account mret) and other counters say 0 mec. Dunno if there's a biggish delay in those stats (though somewhere you mention 1 hour), but I'll leave it at that for now.

The 1000 mec reward is nice but kinda hard amongst the megahashers Cheesy

Confirms are very slow with Megacoin at the moment. A block that was found 6 hours ago only has 37 confirms so far!! This is not the pools fault.

The pool pays out after 120 confirms - the shortest time possible with Megacoin according to the source code.

Sorry for the delay, but again its not the pools fault.

Interestingly when multipool jumps on Megacoin the confirmations speed up alot!

how come everytime megacoin is on the top of coin choose it gets 1 g/hash of power on it?!

like the other coins that usually hang around the top never see over 400 m/hash even when its like 500% profitability

but every time megacoin is close to the top it suddenely gets a gigahash thrown on it....

so what does this mean? someone with probably more than 500M/hash of hashing power in manipulating megacoin

by these difficulty jumps to take advantage of low difficulty and mine a lot of the coin cause he likes it

or maybe they are trying to sabotage the difficulty by always keeping it high

what do you guys think?
