I hope this topic will have a lot of thread and news why bitcoin is so high? Because a lot of investor who invest to the bitcoin so the price pump and I think this year 2018 bitcoin price will become like the highest or more in the value of the bitcoin december 2017.

Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one.

I think a lot of famous people say speculation, and that's usually on famous coins, and most of all we hear is Bitcoin.
And many people just want to invest in crypto by big name, in the hope of being more secure.
Perhaps some of those variables that affect the price of Bitcoin become very high.
