For me, a practical application for the coin is essential.  Some current/recent ICOs that come to mind include Restart Energy, Cube Intelligence, FarmaTrust, Shipchain.  Hell, even a straight up cryptocurrency with low fees & fast transaction times is fine by me.  Of these, ones that come to mind with future potential include PACcoin, HTMLcoin, and in the near future - SAFEX, once it gets it's own blockchain in the coming months and stops riding around on Bitcoin.

I'm sooo sick of "fun coins" appearing on a daily basis.  They are just a waste of time and energy and reduce the significance and potential of what crypto and blockchain development can do.

Bought some ICO simply based on hype to sell it as soon as posible after token release. But the ICOs that i bought that i will hodl until yeah better or worse, I have mainly looked at the idea and the team beheind it. If the team and idea seems good, I usually google and read everything I can about the project. If nothing alarming came up by now and I'm still intrested I read through the whitepaper and after that I usually decide if i will invest or not.

of course to find the minimum price, you can get many advantages if following the right ico, unfortunately it is now very difficult to find ico like that, many scam that happened so many investors are afraid to join ico

Yes it is possible for me to invest in an ICO but not for now because I am really learning the phase of cryptocurrency and how exactly does it work and by that I will be knowledgeable is such things and by the time that I will invest in an ICO I will be more knowledgeable in such things. But for me the best question that is popping in my mind is, will the coin be successful in soon time? And if the answer is yes, It is profitable for me.
