Most likely yes than not, but it happens in very rare cases, recently I have not met profitable airdrop for a long time. I suspect that people realized that this can also be well earned, so they create wrappers and give out to people.

airdrops are  often worthless. When the airdrop is  valuable It takes a long time to get into the stock market, you are already forgotten the token Smiley bounty is much better especially if you write blog

Airdrop means free money..It is a good way to earn some money..Its easy way of earning tokens, they are free. Some of airdrop tokens profitable..They will be the easiest tokens you will ever make. Just Doing signup by your email and eth address is that simple.. But be aware from fake airdrop and scammers . Make a new email account and a separate wallet too.

airdrop is the distribution of tokens or coins project for free, that is, project developers integrate their project into the community, and after a while, these tokens or coins are simply sold on a particular exchange, this is very simply a process that conceals a very serious idea in itself.

well they are free. Most never go on an exchange so are worthless but the odd one does and than you can make small money. The best airdrop of all is Deep Onion if you can earn over 100 onions by using there forum you will be paid weekly.

airdrop is free. but you need to pay to get deeponion airdrop. deeponion is full of shit scamcoin, they even disabled native block explorer coz its just too embarrassing https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2057229.0

Hi everyone. I've tried participating in a couple of airdrops but haven't gotten any coins yet. For those of you who have, how do you go about making anything out of airdrops? Is it worthwhile or just the usual pump and dump?

Some AIRDROPS are. I joined Ethereum Blue, which now is called just BLUE and is worth 500$. I didn't do anything for it, just put my ETH address in the form. They are profitable but most of them are just crap or spam.

Some airdrops will bring you a few bucks in the short term, and who knows, maybe there will be some fools with money that will buy the "scam" coins as well and you will make some more profit on the long run.

They are shit coins and I regret ever spending my time on airdrops. The ones I participated was a pump and dump airdrop when it was trading on etherdelta. The worst part of it is that , I paid gas price before receiving it.

Few of the airdrops from a good coin would be profitable but most of the are trash.

most of these free tokens are garbage. But even on this you can earn. I think that you do not need to give up free coins. Maybe they will be very promising

Sure they are! You just need to find a good startup project, comply their requirements and wait for your coins, voila you just made some profit. You can also subscribe to some twitter pages which shares airdrop alerts, in that way you can get in early. For a good airdrop to participate in right now, check out DeepOnion. It's currently on 25th week of the airdrop, you can check out the requirements here: https://deeponion.org/airdrop.html. They're a really good project. It's an anonymous transaction coin that uses TOR's network for anonymity. They built a community from the ground up and currently their forum is so large and active with new members being added from time to time. Feature wise, DeepOnion sports a lot of it, including "DeepVault" - a document notarization service that can be verified using DO's blockchain, a POW/POS hybrid using x13 algorithm, the upcoming "DeepSend" and also an anonymous messaging function from within the core qt-wallet. Hope this info helps  Wink

Sometimes it's good and sometimes its not profitable because some of the project is not promising and let them waste your time applying for that certain airdrop. I have many experience in airdrops and some of them makes me huge profit to buy my personal things. It also helps me for having a transaction fee in eth blockchain.

Some are profitable and some are not. There are people who sell their coins they had received as soon as they can. Because of that, the value of that coin will be dumped. Some coins do not stand a chance when they got into the dip. But if you are lucky, some coins are being pumped by the whales. I don’t participate in airdrops but I know how to make money out of it and that is filling up forms of good airdrops as many as possible and hold the future coins for a long time.

If you have no job and nothing else to do then yeah it can be profitable I think and sometimes you can hit a jackpot and your airdrop pump a lot

But usually airdrops are worthless and you can be scammed by it

Airdrops are for the most parts useless, but if you are lucky you can make a lot of money for nothing.
If you like it, the right way is to participate to these offers choosing "by gut".
Of course, don't put too many hopes... :-)

I participate on over 400 Airdrops. I received like 120 of them. 10 of this Airdrops i can sell. I ewarned 2 ETH on this way. Some of them like ECASH or BitCoinRed i sold to early. if I had waited and hold both of them, i can make like 4ETH just with this two airdrops. So of course its profitable, but the airdrops who are worth something are getting rare.
