Do we Need Altcoin?

if we are in the world of cryptocurrency we definitely need altcoin because altcoin has good selling points and lots of altcoin options available. we can trade altcoin in various markets and sell with bitcoin. for example monero and eth coins are currently very good in the world of cryptocurrency.

just like the name suggest alternative coin. the numbers of altcoin in the market is not the problem but what are other features. just like ethereum and some other coin like NEO which can be use as smart contract to create token, developing altcoin with good features which can serve many purpose is the most important thing. forget about how many they are. if you create a useless coin, only time will tell before they are being dump like peice of shit.

Sure, we do need altcoins. altcoins offer investors variety; and since variety is the spice of life,people can choose between varied investment opportunities in crytocurrencies base on market speculations

For me, we need altcoin because we are able to earn big amount of money here. Using your altcoin we can earn money  through treading, that give us good income.

There are many altcoin at the present, but there are few altcoin that give us better future, like ethereum. indeed. every altcoin is unique in its own way. moreover if there will be no altcoins then there will be monopoly of bitcoin/ like raiden network aims to solve the scalability  problem of ethereum network so many projects can use the raiden network.  there are alot more altcoins with unique features too

Definitely you have the point. Why we use Gmail if we have AOL? Just like "Why we invest in Altcoin if we have Bitcoin?" Hoping you got the logic on it. We invest in other crypto currency because we want to make more money that's why we're here. Everybody who's in here want to earn money that's what we called "we need to invest more to make more money".

Indeed, we need Altcoins for trading even it only cost small amount and having a small volume in market. As all of the Altcoin have its price increasing or decreasing, we need it to gain profit and income by the gap from how much we bought it to how much we would sell it.

Altcoins definitely have a right to exist. I dont see any issue with many coexisting altcoins besides of king Bitcoin.

My answer is YES! If it is not possible to have a tree without no branch then Altcoins are the branches of bitcoin, therefore, Altcoins are essential commodity in cryptocurrency of today and they help good trader to accumulate more bitcoin.
This is the most appropriate time to add more altcoin in your portfolio

Let's be realistic, BTC would never have achieved the present level of exposure without the help of the global crypto ecosystem and that is mostly related to the good altcoins.

We absolutely need to have good altcoins to explore the full potential of the blockcahin technologies and in that process push BTC to be improved.

However, I believe the number of upcoming BTC hard forks are not a good sign, some of them look really scammy to me, just like BTC Diamond was.

The good altcoins will standout in 2018, mostly due to the increase cost of the overall PoW system.

Keep a close eye on the PoS 3 coins, some are very promising, profitable and ecological!

In my opinion in the present market trend, evolution of Altcoins are the future and we need that future with great ideology! Bitcoin is not the only one that is showing us what we have expected with regard to the concept of decentralization. Altcoins with great ideas can do much, probably even more than Bitcoin in the near future. However, there aren’t many new altcoins that are great. Most of them fail. But, there are few of them that have interesting concept based on their own blockchain technology that is conceptually unique. They are implementing their concepts and their system to others that are willing to embrace that technology.

Yes they are needed ofcourse. Truth be said, if it weren't for Altcoins then Bitcoin wouldn't be as big as it is right now. But lets not forget the fact that some of them are scams and in some cases so are forks too. We need good Altcoins now and especially in the new year.
