Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018?

I think it is unlikely Ethereum will have a price of $ 1000 in January 2018.
I think the Etherium will start to gain a great price later.

Here's hoping it will. Highly unlikely by Jan though. Bitcoin is seeing a meteoric rise as every man and their dog is jumping on board and buying to hold.

I thing ethereum price will be more than $1000 in jan 2018 due to raiden launching its upcoming micro radiden layer in December. Ethereum is good alternative coin at least for trading and the ICOs projects. So its safe to say that it will continue to do so This will make the price increase clearly.

seeing from bitcoin prices now soaring in price I think the ETH price could reach $ 10000, maybe even more than $ 10000. moreover now many altcoin that use wallet etherwallet for airdrop and bounty program.  but please be careful in investing a coin because the price is very unexpected.  

But it is not possible to achieve this price in january. Maybe in end of the year price grow to 1000 dollars but not in one month

I think it's a lovely dream that it will get to 1,000 but only a dream. You are asking for it to more than double in it's value as of today....

I do think it will continue to increase though, I am estimating around 600 by the end of January and be stable around around that price.

ETH had a good development in recent months. Its price has grown over $100 and there is no reason to prevent it continues to rise in the near future. I totally believe that it will reach $1000 in 2018.

It is impossible to achieve this high price in that short time. Okay ethereum can grow to 1000 dollars but in end of 2018 not early, it is my opinion

As of today, Ethereum has gone down from $470+ to $447. I think maybe there are lots of Ethereum dumpers today. I would honestly think that it's possible that it'll reach $1,000 in 2018, but not in January I think. Who knows? I could be wrong, but we'll see about that by the end of January 2018. I started to like Ethereum right now.

Impossible to say, really. At the moment the price is being pulled down at least partly by Crypto Kitties slowing the chain. I suppose we have to see how scaling progresses, and any other developments. I still think Ethereum is a great long-termer, but shorter-term - a month and a half now until the end of Jan 2018 - is more subject to volatility.

Impossible to say, really. At the moment the price is being pulled down at least partly by Crypto Kitties slowing the chain. I suppose we have to see how scaling progresses, and any other developments. I still think Ethereum is a great long-termer, but shorter-term - a month and a half now until the end of Jan 2018 - is more subject to volatility.

A pretty easy short term solution to scaling would be to increase the gas limit. Even without immediate scaling solutions I think eventually people will get used to the new norm of high transaction fees to get stuff confirmed and ETH prices will start recovering whether the network is congested or not.

Frankly speaking I do not believe that this coin will soon become so expensive. Now the network has great problems. This will alienate many users from this coin and it will begin to become cheaper. Raiden should fix the drawback with the speed imo

There is just no way this will happen. There are just too many ICOs now which are the cause of ETH price stagnation. Unfortunately ETH cant follow BTC

That is possible, Nothing is impossible in any coins, Any coin can reach the value of bitcoins if people will turn to invest that certain coin and a lot of interest will be focus in that coin then expect the highest value of coin in ethereum maybe because there are a lot of demand on it.

i think it's impossible the price of ETH will hit $1000 in the first month of 2018, because of the price of bitcoin so high now, and when the bitcoin price get higher, some altcoins stay or dump price, and ETH will not hit the price of $1000, maybe the price will hit $700 before the end of 2017.

Don't know after looking at the current rate of Ethereum and also the recent drop in the price of it. I mean it was supposed to be going upwards after bitcoin has recent jump in the prices. This is happening since last week but suddenly all the alt are now following the old pattern where when bitcoin was going upwards then all the alts use to go down. If this is the case that has started again then Im sure that alts will go down along with the Ethereum coin also. But agin as the market is completely uncertain we don't know whats going on with ethreum and most importantly with MR. Vitalik sir! Its all in his hands of him and lets hope that we just hit that price real soon. :-)
