Just got a question, does CGB has a central checking point like PPC currently has? Can the developer kindly confirm this. Thanks.
CGB does not use a central checkpoint server. So how secure this coin is at the moment? The value of this coin is quite low at the moment which would make it relatively easy to suffer 51% attack? I really live CGB but I just need to understand it a little more about it before buying some more. I already have 5k and not dump even a single CGB.

Great post, thank you very much for the input! We are also on the exchanges Coins-e, Coinex and Cryptokopen, as listed on the cryptogenicbullion.org homepage. We are also actively working on getting CGB on other exchanges at the moment. I agree 100% that is a very important aspect for the success of a coin. I personally have not ever heard of Mintpal before and never cared much for poloniex, but will send both exchanges emails ASAP. All help is appreciated, the addresses are support@mintpal.com and poloniex@gmail.com Well, I am not endorsing either exchange, I am just saying that while Mintpal is new, they have attracted a lot of business. I do like the exchange (so far) as well, but the reason I mentioned it is that a community can get on there with enthusiasm -- no fee required. So, you can email them, I guess, but there is a voting tab right at the top of their homepage. Just hit that button and you guys can vote and will see all of the results as well.

Of course, every extra exchange is good, no doubt about that. Yes I did notice the voting tab, but if you look carefully you will find that they forgot to put CGB on there

CGB does not use a central checkpoint server. what stops the coin from forking and having rollbacks due to competing POW and POS blocks ? Spacing between PoW block generation and PoS block generation has proven to be sufficient to avoid rollback issues. Coins with shorter PoW block times can find this to be an issue.

I really live CGB but I just need to understand it a little more about it before buying some more. I already have 5k and not dump even a single CGB. Since CGB uses a hybrid algorithm (PoW and PoS), an attacker would have to have both, greater than 50% hashing power and greater than 50% of stake. In essence the attacker would need to own over half of the CGB being staked making the attack mainly against them self.

I have vaguely followed this coin for a while as it seems like a good one.
But, I just went to look on the first page to see where I could possibly buy it and didn't see a list of exchanges.
Website says Cryptys. That's it? You guys keep talking about a great community (apparently all of whom are over at Reddit) and yet you don't have it anywhere. Mintpal, for example, takes in a new coin every week or so, based solely on voting by the communities.
It's not so much that it needs to be on Mintpal (or Poloniex or others) for it to increase in value, it is for exposure to other investors. After someone makes a profit on a coin, they may be looking to do some research on another coin.
I really think that when people hear about CGB, they like it. But, who has ever heard of it? It has a very serious sounding name that doesn't exactly roll off the tongue and has been around for a long time by coin standards.
Attracting investors who are in it for the long run is admirable and certainly a good goal. But plain old buzz isn't anathema to that strategy. Plus, having a bunch of speculators is fine too. A certain percentage of those investors will like what they see and hold on for longer than usual.
I'm not on Reddit, so maybe this is all being addressed already. But, I think that getting on a couple more exchanges would be in the marketing 101 category. Maybe boring, but required. A lot of people don't like or trust Cryptsy.
I'm not trying to be a downer. I just thought you might be interested in hearing from someone who does not yet own the coin, but is looking.

Is there anyway to check if someone voted on ecoinfund? I want to know so I can start a giveaway to get people to vote.

Remember you can buy votes on mintpal with BTC. The votes won't be reset (I think) so you can just slowly pump votes every now and then.

Maybe a screen shot before a and after voting? I feel like that might be a lot of effort for the user, especially since we need ~900 votes and I don't see 900 people flocking in immediately. I'm not putting this off though, I want to CGB onto that exchange.

I will donate to your giveaway effort. Those that receive will have a vested interest in CGB growth so I think most will be honest. But I am a trusting person by nature.

I'm waiting for my client to redownload the blockchain before I send it to my reddit account. I don't think you should send just yet, we see how things work out at first. I'm thinking to give 0.1CGB per vote. sounds fair?
