interesting.

But I guess yxt will get -as reseller- the discount.
Hopefully he will provide those sticks for a small premium (maybe 0.12 BTC total)
And then menig need to provide those sticks to us for also a small premium

+ shipping cost => I hope we get those additional sticks for less than 0.2 BTC

für 0,1-0,2 wäre ich auch noch mal mit 10 dabei. Das wär doch mal was...

Träum weiter. Dann wäre der break even im ersten oder zweiten Monat. Das ist viel zu günstig für asicminer. Rechne eher mit 0,6 oder 0,7

I received my 10 USB miners... all are working at full speed un Ubuntu 13.04 64bit with bfgminer 3.1.3 on a 10-port Orico hub (A3H10).

First I tried to plug the hub to a Beaglebone (similar to Raspberry Pi) but never al 10 could been initialized.. it seems that the Beaglebone was to slow and the driver of the last sticks being intitialized caused timeouts.

Then I plugged it into my desktop and they work absolutely flawless. Thats the startup line I use:

Code:
bfgminer -G -S all -o stratum+tcp://mypool:port -u username -p password --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100

I left a positive trust message for Mening. He did a great job! Thank you! (You should do the same if you are happy with Menings service).

Sticks sind angekommen und funktionieren soweit ich das sehe alle! Muss noch etwas am Setup feilen damit alle so erkannt werden wie ich es will, aber sonst is alles Bestens!

Danke Menig. Hat perfekt geklappt. Trust folgt umgehend.

For some reason, my two sticks seem to be stuck on the way somewhere. At least according to the tracking site, they apparently haven't even left Hamburg yet Sad (stuck there since saturday >_< )

No complaints to Menig, he sent them when he said he would, but... DHL, WTF? :/

Out of curiosity, i clicked on the tracking links of some of the other international orders (in the first post), and at least a few in the UK and Sweden were already delivered on monday or tuesday. Not faaaaaaair! Tongue

Edit: Even two shipments to Lithuania (sent on the 18th) got delivered there on wednesday Grin And that's kinda "right next door"...

Edit no.2: There's another delivery to Finland from the first batch, that was sent on the 18, and it reached the country just yesterday, so... I might get my sticks maybe on monday-tuesday? >_< I could've hitchhiked to Germany and back by now...

First 4 sticks arrived yesterday and have been hashing all night, all working. One of them has a bum LED - weak yellow instead of the strong green - but other than that is working fine so far.

Hope to receive the other 6 sticks today.

Kudos to Menig. Great job. A little trust for ya Wink

I would like to get a decent answer from any of the people involved

About both the problematic sticks, 1 not working and the other producing more hw errors then accepted.

In 4 days non has answered my questions or pm's

I have tried and tested many things to see if it was indeed the usb hubs or pc ports but each and every time i get same results.
no matter what port or hub i put the healthy ones on they give a pretty stable amount of accepted and a few errors. ( like 5% or so but thats it)

When i put the weird one in the same slot it either produces instant lots of errors (mostly when starting the miner fresh ).

If i pull the plug out when it produces errors and replug it,
then it seems to run fine for some hours
But at some moment it begins producing massive errors again.
I really do not have time to babysit these since i am planning to let them run in our cold and noisy server room totally unattended.

The healthy sticks are producing on each and every port perfect like on any picture shown on the web.
